I remember it so well!! I was completely excited and kept giggling and making sounds as my husband at the time groaned because he couldn't sleep (it was like 5 am where I live!)

So I didn't even have to think about this!! It came to me right away.

I was writing Ch. 34 of my fic Heavier Things in April 2020. It was the culmination of this series I had been writing daily, tirelessly for 9 months, the most important chapter in the story. Week #3 or #4 of quarantine, I'm up writing this at 2-something in the morning, and @bbrandy2002 and @axwalker are inside the Google doc with me watching me type it live, screaming reactions into the comments as each sentence left my fingers.

It was completely exhilarating, giggly, and I felt like those dear friends of mine were physically sitting next to me and cheering me on 😍😍😍😍

Lately, I’ve spent a lot of time going through my pictures of Drake and Ava, looking for some much-needed inspiration.  In doing so, I realized that I have a whole lot of “Honeymoon” related pictures. (Bless these two and their aversion to clothing! 😂)  These pictures made me SO nostalgic, which led me to reread my Honeymoon fic, If you could only see  (which got its name from my quintessential Drava song by Tonic❤)

So I was going to make myself a Honeymoon mood board to look at when I needed some inspiration…but there are SO MANY pics that it just looked a godawful mess! 

Luckily for me, I’m blessed to have some incredibly talented, generous, and loving friends and my lovely @ao719 solved my dilemma. 😋

So, my sweet cosmic soul sister Anitah…thank you so much for this. 🥰 I’m beyond grateful and humbled that you took your time and energy to make this for me.  You are an angel on earth and I love you more than words can express.

Sunday six-ish

I'm working on the next part of 'The royal tour' where Ava will finally meet up with everyone in Italy. I'm also introducing a new character who will be pretty significant.

This snippet below the cut (more than six sentences but, oh well) covers his first appearance. Pictures are also included.

“That’s him.” Drake announced confidently, pointing to a taxi that was pulling in.

“Are you sure?” Ava surveyed the vehicle trying to see who was inside, but with little success. 

“Yup.” He popped his seatbelt and went to exit the camper. Ava followed and looked over in time to see a man emerge from the taxi. He was tall, probably almost as tall as Drake and equally as well built. He was very good-looking, had olive skin, and a neatly shaped beard. He was wearing a cream baseball cap, a dark teal shirt with light-coloured ripped jeans and black converse. Spotting them his face relaxed into a broad smile, he then strided forward to greet them both with a handshake

“Assalam-o-Alaikum my friends!” 

“Wa-Alaikum-Salaam”

Ava looked at Drake in surprise, he just smirked at her and shrugged.

“What, you think he taught me nothing in the six years I’ve known him?”
