“So where are you from?” Joy asked while looking ahead and weaving through the croud of students in the hall. “Uh I’m actually from here, just changed schools.” You explained to her, pulling a few strands of hair blocking you view, behind your ear. “Oh. Well, I hope you enjoy your new school.” She said, turning her face to you and giving you a welcoming smile. “Thanks.” You smiled back at her.

You let out a laugh and turned your head towards the girl next to you. “Oh my god. He seriously wears slippers?” You asked, almost not being able to control your laugh at the confession Joy had made to you. “No joke, yesterday I saw him wearing pink fluffy slippers in his office.” She had practically just  exposed the university director for wearing fluffy slippers when he’s not outside his office. You let another laugh as both of you walked towards your dorms. “Well, goodnight. I’ll come by in the morning if you need help getting to a class.” She said, unlocking her door that was a few doors down yours. “Alright then. Goodnight Joy.” You replied, waving your habd and smiling at her.

Once you got inside your dorm you let a heavy sigh escape your mouth. You hadn’t realized how tired you grew from today until you entered the door. Having Joy show you around the campus wasn’t as bad as you thought, although you got stares from students and staff, some either didn’t acknowledge your existence or just didn’t care, and you preferred it that way.

Looking around, you saw the place was pretty roomy and looked kind of like a modern apartment with an expensive looking kitchen counter to the right, a living room next to it and to the left was what seemed to be a hallway, from your angle. You didn’t see your luggage anywhere in the living room or by the kitchen, so you assumed they must’ve placed it in your room. You walked to the left and made a turn to enter the hallway. Two doors where to the left and one was to the right. You decided to open the closest one to your left, twisting the knob and pushing the door, you peeked inside and saw nothing. So you opened the door fully and to the right there were two switches.

You flicked the first one and lights turned on inside. Now that you knew this was not your bedroom but your bathroom, you turned the switch off and stepped back, bringing the door with you and closing it.

You took a few steps further down the hallway and opened the door next to the previous one. It was a bit dark but you could make out a bed to the left of the room with the moon light illuminating the room from the other side of the window. Taking a step into the room, and finding the lights, you flicked them on. You were surprised to see that the room was spacious just like the rest of the dorm. By the closet door that was infront of the bed, you saw your two luggages and a small Victoria’s Secret backpack that carried most of your small essentials. It was pretty late now so you just rummaged through your clothing looking for pj’s to wear. You found a pair of loose booty shorts and a tank top that matched. You frowned at the sight of what your hands pulled out of the pile of clothing, you wanted pants since the room was a bit cold and wanted to sleep warmly. Attempting to find the thermostat in the dorm didn’t sound like something you wanted to do right now. So you decided to flip your heavy luggage upside down and try to atleast find pants. You furrowed your eyes in search for pants anywhere in the scattered clothing on the floor.

When your eyes spotted your black Pumas joggers you leaped forward and snatched them happily, and stood up, walking to get your small bag and exited your room.

You hopped in the shower after you had adjusted the water to warm. You made sure to wash your tail and ears carefully but quickly, wanting to get out already. You did the same with all your other parts, now rinsing all the soap off your body. You turned the water off and reached your hand to the towel hanging on the hook by the shower. Once you dried yourself with the soft towel you changed into your pj’s that layed on the sink aling with a small bag. You purred as you felt your clothing warm you up, your arms were a bit cold but you could maybe find a sweater in your scattered clothing, back in your room.

You unzipped your black backpack and took out your toothpaste, toothbrush, and a few night creams that were a part of your skin care routine. Feeling drowsy you messily applied your toothpaste onto the toothbrush and rubbed your brush against your teeth, gently so you wouldn’t hurt your gums. You grew a small habit of always brushing your fangs last. You lifted your upper lip so you could brush your fangs properly, and carefully brushed them. When you finished rinsing off the toothpaste, you dipped your hand back into your bag and pulled out a hair band. You brought your hands to the top of your head to start a french braid so you could have wavy hair the next morning.

You made a small jog back to your room so you could slip into the comfortable mattress, and made a mental note to ask your parents to bring you some of your covers from home since you had only brought one of the few you still had left behind. Almost forgetting your phone in the bathroom, you groaned and lazily got up from the bed and walked to bathroom and got your phone out of the bag that was still there.

Slipping back into the mattress yourself with your thick blanket and pressed the power on button on your phone to set your alarm at 6am. You set your phone on the small nightstand by your bed and fell asleep a few mintues later.

You whined when you heard the annoying ringing of your alarm go off and instead of getting up, you chose to sleep for five more minutes. Now being fully awake, you lifted the heavy blanket off your body and looked for an outfits to wear for the day. You went with an off shoulder white shirt, and light demin pants. After going to the bathroom to change, you looked for a pair of shoes and found white sneakers to match your choice of clothing.

Looking at your phone for the time, you had around forty mintues of spare time. So you took your time undoing your briad and making your messy hair look neat, you also found a sweater incase you got cold later in the day. You applied a bit of hair spray to your hair so it wouldn’t be all over the place and ran your hands through your scalp.

You looked down to your ankles and thought if you should roll the end of your pants up or let them be. You walked a few steps forward while looking down and felt uncomfortable with the pants, so you decided to roll a few inches of the pants inwards. Sighing, you plopped on the bed with a bounce and opened your phone to take a note or two of the work that needed to be done in your dorm and waited for a knock at your door.
