How to stay in touch with music from your country, even if life has been a bit boring over the past 10 years
What are you doing? I am a Russki young man who came to America in search of a better life. I was poor in Russia and have never had fortune. My family, not me. As a child in Russia and the Soviet Union, young adults did not have money. We were forced to look for other ways to earn money. There are many schemes available, with the majority are similar to people who drinkers ask their neighbors to buy their vodka bottles for the community. https://www.ytmp3.ooo The idea is similar. We'd come up with ways to make a few bucks and even buy a loaf. We were always hungry..
Tumblr media
So I got to America. It's far away from New York, Brooklyn and Brighton Beach. The place is truly reminiscent of the comforts of home. It's loud and dirty People are rude, and it's full Russian speech. I've spent a lot of money there, mostly going to Russian restaurants, bookstores and music shops. I love music, and I love to read books. Nowadays, it is easy to locate Russian literature on Kindle and it's happened recently. So I stopped purchasing hard copy books. In addition, I don't have enough space in my house. My wife is an avid collector. Therefore I do what I can to prevent adding to her pile of stuff. The stacks looked smart for the first few weeks before they began to look sad. I eventually placed them in my garage, which is big enough for my belongings. Music is an entirely different genre. I'm a fan of music as my job requires me to travel far distances and I have a lot of music to listen to. And as an old Russian immigrants, I've never been able to appreciate any new music that I have discovered in the USA.. I simply don't like hip-hop, rap metal, rock and pop. And all the new age stuff that kids love to dance. The old Russian music is a thing I cherish along with the Russian-specific songs from jail. They're still extremely well-known even though I've been gone for 20 years. The internet is flooded with everything on Youtube nowadays. This means I can sit for hours watching music on YouTube while I'm at work or when I get home from work. After some time, I was able to create an endless playlist of more than 300 songs that I enjoy. It's my go-to friend. I can listen to it all day long and have any issues getting it used. There are over 300 songs! However, when I want to listen to them in my car I do not have internet access. I require it for driving and navigation. I do all the preparation at home. I'm at the middle of the line I record a few songs from Youtube to mp3 files and then burn those mp3s onto a CD with my laptop. Then I take the CD into the car to listen. The website I came across, it can take Youtube playlist and print out all songs on the playlist, and each one can be then converted to MP3 format and saved to my personal computer. After you have the songs printed, it's easy to save them onto an audio CD. Sometimes, I make an error and make a dataCD. Then it's easy to transfer it onto audio CD. When audio is recorded, it's incredible how technology works, I don't need to be connected to the internet, I don't need any equipment to play mp3. I simply insert the CD into the car stereo slot, and the music from Russia is playing in the middle of Manhattan at the time I get there while driving around. It's simple and cheap to save videos on Youtube in MP3 format. Then you can download them to your Smartphone. A friend of mine hooked his iPhone to the car stereo and within minutes, it was playing very premium sound. He could also stream Spotify and Pandora radio. It doesn't require much Internet. I'm going to try this in the next.. But I will use only free wifi.
