Is Wholewheat Bread Healthy?
The majority of people hold the misconception that wholewheat bread should be brown in hue. This could not be further from the truth, and the majority of us observe daily evidence of this in our families. Wholewheat flour is used to make rotis or chapatis at home, and despite appearances, the rotis are not brown.

THE BENEFITS OF CHOOSING SOURDOUGH WHOLE WHEAT PAV OVER REGULAR PAV
Sourdough whole wheat pav, also known as sourdough whole wheat bread, offers several benefits over regular pav or white bread. Here are some of the key benefits:
More Nutritious: Sourdough whole wheat pav is made from whole wheat flour, which is higher in fiber and nutrients than refined white flour used in regular pav. Additionally, sourdough fermentation breaks down some of the complex carbohydrates and makes the nutrients more bioavailable for the body to absorb.
Better Digestibility: Sourdough fermentation also helps to break down gluten, which can be difficult for some people to digest. This can make sourdough whole wheat pav easier to digest and less likely to cause digestive issues compared to regular pav.
Longer Shelf Life: Sourdough fermentation also helps to preserve the bread, giving it a longer shelf life than regular pav. This is because the lactic acid produced during fermentation helps to inhibit the growth of mold and bacteria.
More Flavorful: Sourdough whole wheat pav has a tangy flavor and a chewy texture that is different from regular pav. This flavor comes from the natural fermentation process, which creates a complex flavor profile that cannot be replicated with commercial yeast.
Lower Glycemic Index: Sourdough whole wheat pav has a lower glycemic index than regular pav, which means it causes a slower and more sustained rise in blood sugar levels. This can be beneficial for people with diabetes or those trying to maintain stable blood sugar levels.
