My absolute favourite scene from Unravel Me (Pg 326)

Something that kind of bothered me if you will is how people think Grayson and Avery had romantic chemistry together.

In the first book Grayson treated Avery nastily and neither trusted each other. There was tension every time they were in a scene till the end of the book. No romance.

Book 2. Okay so there was some sweet moments with the skiing, sword fighting, and then the kiss. But still I didn't feel any romance. I saw two people who used to be enemies slowing becoming friends. Avery was having to become what Grayson was raised to be. And just under a year, where Grayson had his whole life. Grayson knew the struggle and he wanted to help. Also the fact Avery thought of Jameson when she was told to picture someone while on the imaginary cliff.

Book 3. It's pretty obvious Avey and Jameson are a thing. Grayson has gone to Harvard but then returns for her birthday. It's awkward between them when Eve is around but then we have that heart wrenching scene in the chapel. When Grayson tells Avery he had never hated her and there are many things that she will never know about how he feels about her. I think it was his way of telling her that they will ever be together. She choose Jameson and Grayson knew that.

Anyways, so I still stand by that Avery and Grayson are each other's right hand person. Biggest supporters and comrades in arms. Not lovers.

So, we've all seen the new snippet of TGG right?

I've seen so many of you all saying this is Rohan and Savannah, but i don't think that this is them even a little and here is why:

At the very end of TFG Avery mentions that she is making a game, full of riddles, to give chance to the people like her. What she means is ordinary people, those who aren't rich and doesn't live luxurious life, bcs she knows how that feels, i mean she was LIVING in the car for YEARS, suffering before she inherited billions and that's exacly why she is hosting this game, TO GIVE PEOPLE CHANCE. And then Savannah randomly being the player doesn't make sence for me and for the plot. She is rich, at least rich enough to take care of herself, her family and her career and for those who are saying "but not only money, reputation..." SHE WANTS NOTHING FROM HAWTHRONES. And i think it was pretty clear in TBH that she wants nothing to do with that family, besides...i don't think either Avery or Grayson would allow that. I do belive that this is defenitly Rohan( "love" and the way she flirts with woman, just like in TBH with Avery) we don't know if he's rich or not, we don't know his backstory, so it could definity be him, and the other one....as much as i don't want to i feel like it's Lyra, don't get me wrong i would love that person to be Lyra i just hope that Rohan and Lyra will stay as friends with banter bcs i SERIOUSLY can't take another love triangle (JLB seems to like it a lot) between her Rohan and Grayson. Please no🙏🏻, i feel like they would be an iconic duo.

Because Grayson and Gigi are out of question (obviously).

And I dont think Savannah would be a player because she's already rich, and she is also related to the Hawthorne family, so it would be considered unfair if she is allowed to play.

And it doesn't necessarily have to be romantic (though you never know with jlb), they could just be sassy chatting in the competitive spirit. Also, idk, I feel like that's something Lyra would say

I'm sorry, but it could also be eve. Like she's rich and all, but she is determined to cause drama in this series, and maybe she chooses to do that through the game??

i seriously don't understand people who make fics where avery breaks up with jamie bc he cheated on her, or loves his games more than her (which is SO not true), and ends up with grayson. they act as if this wouldn't absolutely ruin the family, and make fans furious at avery. like i hate jamie's mischaracterization and how they just ignore how ruined the family would be. im fine with averygrayson fics where jamie and her never ended up together (although they're not my cup of tea cause averyjameson>>>), but this is just.. no.
