Glory, Fake It and The Anchor are all top tier Bastille songs imo! (Lethargy is good too but I’m kinda surprised it made it so far) Personally I wish more Doom Days songs made it farther but oh well lol

even though i’ve said doom days is my third favorite album, i just love so many of its songs: those nights, the waves, quarter past midnight, bad decisions, etc.

#joy and nocturnal creatures sucked #also doom days has the least memorable extended edition songs #i can only remember easy days and final hour off the top of my head

neither of these are bad at all (they’re in the better half of bastille songs, actually) but there’s just so much better that could be in here

i’m completely confident that if those nights didn’t go up against glory it would’ve been in round 5 at least

pompeii is the bastille song everyone knows and i think it should’ve beat the anchor based on nostalgia alone

My fave album is actually: surprise!! Wild World. The Anchor and Warmth are my absolute favourites from the whole album, but Glory and Fake It are skips for me
