“you think this is mistreatment?” rowle couldn’t help but laugh at that; a barking sound that was as if it had been ripped out of him. “in the 1800′s, they used to hang students by their toenails in the dungeons.” his eyes gleamed. in durmstrang, where he’d attended school before transferring to hogwarts as a seventh year, more extreme forms of punishment were still practiced. far more so than the hallowed halls of hogwarts. “it’s a shame we did away with that. perhaps it’s time to bring it back..”
Bizzy swallowed hard and shook her head. “No we should not, people deserve some level of dignity.” She stated, her pet was starting to squirm in her arms as a girl walked past them but Bizzy held her ground, refusing to let him win.

“is your niffler part human?” anyone who didn’t know rowle might have almost thought he was serious; his face was impassive, no expression or tone evident that he was mocking her… though he was. “i do think i said to partner up with another student if you wanted to explore. it’s not a difficult concept. if you can’t GRASP it, i suppose i should talk to your head of house. comprehension is a first year concept. “
Sometimes Bizzy wished her family was meaner, that way she could threaten to tell her family about this awful man who stood in front of her, but she was the only Slytherin in a long line of Hufflepuffs. “I understand the concept.” She spat the words through gritted teeth. “I don’t understand how you think you’re allowed to treat students like this.”

it took everything rowle had not to roll his eyes. as it was, he probably looked rather annoyed as he grit his teeth. quite frankly, if bizzy wanted to spend her entire trip holed up in her room rather than exploring? it would have no effect on him. “you’d rather stay in your room than explore.” he repeated, ensuring she knew EXACTLY what she was signing up for. “do what you want, ms. scamander. it’s your time - waste it if you want.”
“I know what I said.” She stated quite harshly, she gave the other student an apologetic shrug and watched as they returned to their friends. “If I wanted to go with any random student I could pull someone aside for myself, I don’t need you to bully them into coming with me.”

bizzy might have thought the niffler was cute but rowle certainly did not. in fact he turned his nose up, his scowl all the more frightening given the scars marring the side of his face. “no.” he grunted. “you need a buddy to go off on your own. if you can’t find one for yourself…” he looked around, grabbing another student by the scruff of their robes and depositing them in front of her. “there. now you’ve got a buddy. go wild.”
She didn’t like his scowl, he looked mean and it was clear that he was, the girl lowered her pet and held him close to her chest as Rowle shoved another student at her. “No thank you, I’d rather just go back to my room.”

phoenix had smiled and wished bizzy a fun trip in the states before bouncing off to her room to take a quick nap. with the full moon only a few days away, she needed as much rest as she could get. after their stint in the states was over, phoenix was admittedly a little DISAPPOINTED as she settled down in a chair near the bow of the boat. she’d brought a book out to read with her but was distracted by the sight of a familiar face. “oh, hello bizzy.” the witch broke out in a smile. “did you have a good time in new york?”
Bizzy had spent most of the trip in a blur of shopping, and friends, she had even seen an old friend from her childhood, and of course she had to stop her sweet pet from escaping in the streets. With the days passing quickly, Bizzy was happy to have some time to spend just on the ship. “Phoenix, hey!” She smiled brightly. “I did! Did you enjoy seeing your friends?”

IF there’s a british version of the coast guard.” phoenix frowned, racking her brain. she couldn’t REMEMBER any mention of it in their history of magic textbooks but it likely wouldn’t have been covered content anyway. it wasn’t like many people CONCERNED themselves with the going ons of the coast guard - even in the muggle world! “…or because it takes so long to arrive there? personally i can’t wait until we arrive.” the blonde was near bouncing, looking out over the railing of the temporarily dubbed s.s. hogwarts. “i used to live in brooklyn. if we get free time, that’s where i’m going. i haven’t seen my friends since we moved.”
Bizzy quirked an eyebrow, she was unsure of any type of coast guard, let alone one in the Hogwarts Black Lake. Either way, Bizzy shrugged. “It’s sure to be a good time.” She said, chuckling as she saw the other practically bounce in excitement. “I’ve been to Brooklyn, when I was younger. I’m glad you’ll get to see your old friends.”

goldie decided she liked beatrice. she was pretty nice, pretty pretty, pretty smart — all of the p’s, really. she’d chatted with her as the sun had risen, the s.s. hogwarts setting sail all the while; and when her niffler had popped out its head from her purse, goldie had revealed she had a part rat part niffler waiting for her back at the castle — a pet that the house elves of hogwarts had assured her they’d take great care of, just like they had the years before. she understood why beatrice had snuck it on the ship though. gus — gus may have not been full niffler, but he was still quite the handful. if she’d been in the other’s shoes, she probably would’ve done the same. it was a no — brainer that she would keep its presence to herself. all in all, the trip was off to a great start; and when she’d seen the scamander witch in the elegant foyer of the wizarding theater days later, she approached her without hesitation. “ are yeh excited to see the show ? i heard theh are pyrospells involved in one of tha scenes. ”
Watching the sunrise with Goldie had been more fun than she’d expected it to be, not that she didn’t expect Goldie to be fun but she thought she was too tired to appreciate it. She had been wrong. She was even pleased that the other girl promised to keep her little stowaway a secret. The next hours passed in a blur of adventures with some other friends, until it was time to go to the theatre. When Goldie approached she smiled. “Actually yes, I think it’s going to be quite good, my mother always liked the theatre.”

to say that damon wasn’t very awake at the moment, was a mere understatement. he thought the boarding time was a bit too early in his opinion, and at this point, he was just looking forward to going to his cabin and sleeping until they were at sea. “ honestly, your guess is as good as mine … ” he replied absentmindedly and stifled another yawn.
Bizzy turned her head just enough to see the boy yawn, it was clear she wasn’t the only one who was so tired. “I just can’t wait to get back to bed.” She mumbled.

Roman always considered himself an early bird and yet also I night owl, in general he just didn’t sleep much and his body has just been forced to cope with that. Stilled he seemed to be effected by his fellow classmate’s contagious yawns, causing his energy to drop a little. He began to wonder around the ship in pure awe, this was a vacation he always dreamed of growing up, but knew his family could never afford. Not really paying attention, he jolted slightly to a stop as he heard the girl he was walking by. It didn’t take long for him to figure out who is was speaking aimlessly to the air, he felt his palms began to sweat. Bizzy was always someone who intimidated him almost completely based on her family lineage. He knew that was a stupid, especially since they had been in schoolmates for years. Roman swallowed the nervous lump in his throat and moved closer to her as he began to reply, “I mean, the morning is quite beautiful don’t you think. Maybe they wanted us to experience that.” By now he was standing by her side, “Although most likely they just want to get on with this as soon as they can. Impatience is a common quality.”
Bizzy was still looking up at the sky all around them when someone came up to her and responded to her question. A tilt of her head showed her that it was Roman, she’d always been fond of him, he was kind. “I suppose you could be right about that...” She said with a light sigh, which turned to another yawn. “Still, I’m exhausted.”

the ever chipper witch smiled alongside the other. “ yeh. most people aren’t going t’get up a couple hours early t’see it. may as well turn being awake into a positive. ” she began to unbraid her pigtails. back home in brighton, her hair always looked the best it did all year, because the sea salt made her hair curl prettily; something scotland unfortunately lacked. “ personalleh, i have always been a fan of watching tha golden rays rise, no matter tha cost. ” she was going to part then, but there was something about the older girl’s expression that made her think something was wrong. goldie lingered, her light brows crinkling. “ i was just about to go up to the front of the ship to watch — if yeh wanted t’join. ”
“I don’t think I’ve ever gotten up early enough to see it, it was never really my thing.” Bizzy was a girl who enjoyed her sleep, and though when she was younger she would adventure with her grandfather, they were never awake this early. As the other girl offered for Bizzy to join she nodded. “You know... I’d like that.”

Bizzy laughed. “I feel like you should’ve realized sooner that neither of those things would be a good idea.” She teased. “Yeah, I went to New York once as a kid, but I’m very excited. Aren’t you?” The blonde asked.
