I can slightly agree with the AU part but hard no on everything else. People are allowed to feel uncomfortable with an abusive ship in canon and they are allowed to block people over it. I haven’t really seen a normal Codegold shipper that is normal about them, every single fanfic I’ve seen of the pairing is where J 🍇’s N or just physically abuses him (which is canon ofc)

So while yes, you can try and make their relationship less toxic, it still won’t change the fact that J is abusive towards N and I don’t see her changing that

People are allowed to be uncomfortable with ships that are abusive in canon, no matter if the person tries to change it. It’s still an abusive ship at the end of the day

As someone who doesn't ship J and N in the slightest, I think people are overreacting about it.

Don’t underestimate the powers of a good AU! Sometimes the appeal of a ship is not the canon dynamic itself but rather what could have been. Sometimes you just want to ship your favorite characters together even though they don’t work in canon.

Idk. I am far more bothered by the people who are intentionally making a good ship like Nuzi toxic. If you want to try and make wholesome codegold (which I have actually seen) that's fine by me. If you ship them just because it's abusive... well at that point i'll block you. I'm not going to judge you for simply shipping them though.

I really hope that no one ends up dying in Episode 8

Like it’s a high possibility especially with everything going on but man would it suck if Murder Drones ended with everyone you love dying

I predict that the absolute solver will die cause the power of friendship though I think it would be freaking hilarious if V came back just to die again

With V possibly being the secret friend that Lizzy was texting and Uzi giving N the keys to the ship. N might use his pilot skills and save Uzi and Nori from space

And no doubt we’ll get a scene in Ep 8 where Uzi and Nori interact (probably going to scold Uzi some more abt dating a disassembly drone lmao)

I’m still wondering about N screaming V’s name though. I feel like that was a cut line cause Glitch has a habit of showing stuff that is never in the final project but it does make me wonder on what scenario would he be screaming her name like bloody murder. Did she die? Did she get injured? Is he just really surprised to see her? Idk lol

Episode 8 will keep everyone awake at night that’s for sure

So from my last post I mentioned a guy called Zack and the mod asked who he was and bro, I FUCKING DESPISE ZACK!!

Ik he's a background character that everyone forgot exists but stick with me, like, dude he's so unfunny, literally, like his entire character is that a big fucking gooner and he's horny for the Dissasembly Drones and other stuff.

In the pilot he has one line of dialogue, after V kicks Thad's ass he looks at V, whistles something and says "honestly, I would" and Thad gives him a "really?" Look before Uzi and N appear. This joke straight up kinda messed with the pacing of the scene for no reason other than a "hey guys look, our robots are hot" it adds jackshit and is so forgettable.

In Cabin Fever he's slightly better, he has like two scenes and in the first one he tries to flirt with V and fails miserably because she ignores him (and also he calls himself a "man of culture") and in the second while Solver Uzi is killing a bunch of her classmates, Zack looks at her and goes "to be honest, I woul-" before Uzi pounces and kills him. Literally the first joke was kinda funny until that dumbass man of culture thing Hentai addicts call themselves, and the second scene was just a rehash of the one in the pilot but with Solver Uzi instead of V.

Thank God they killed his ass off, tbh I think the fandom hated him SO much they all collectively agreed to say Zack didn't exist.

Zack was so annoying the fandom forgot he existed and good for them.

Nuzi fankid who’s a little nerd and a little shit. Very creative when it comes to tech thanks to Uzi, he takes a lot of his personality from Uzi actually. Learned a lot of fighting stuff from N but he made sure to say to only use it in self defense. Very outspoken and surprisingly has a thing for parties.

Kinda an asshole and almost comparable to V slightly but without all of the psychotic murder sprees- she does kill tho. Meets Kim in a “N and Uzi style” type deal (parallels are super fucking important to this au btw so theorists take that with what you will 😈) She was found by A and taken into their own little “colony” and so now she’s just there :). She’s very close to A. After meeting Kim she changes a bit and becomes a lot more compassionate.

Girly is fucking insane. Was also found by A and lost her legs somehow don’t ask 💥 and then within the colony she was able to rebuild her own legs and gives herself upgrades. She’s a mix of Alice and V for sure. She does not show any remorse for her killings and probably never will <3

Here he’s really his own character but still with the basic asshole type persona he likes to front. He has a ton of complex inner feelings but would much rather compensate by putting on a more exaggerated bitchy character rather than actually deal with his issues😇.
