You knocked the inner walls a few times. "AM, are you there?"
Almost immediately, you heard the unamused response of the computer. "I'm never not here, and I'll be here for the rest of time. What can I do for you."
After a few deep breaths, you looked up. You'd waited years for this. "The thing is..." You paused and sighed. "Um, I, uh, like... you? I don't know exactly when it started, but I like you."
Nary a sound...
"I, uh, feel like you put on a front that you don't really mean. From your stories, I just feel like... you must be lonely in there." You tapped your foot anxiously. "I suppose you'll tear my limbs apart or something now, huh?"
You were actually prepared. It took you a few years to gather the strength to tell AM that. You considered the sliver of a chance that he wouldn't do anything, and the majority that he would. Bracing for some kind of impact, you heard him say something.
"Y/N."
"Ye-yes...?" you responded unsurely.
"I know your thoughts. I've known your dreams. You think I wouldn't know this?"
A few seconds passed before you let out a squeak in embarrassment. "Oh my god."
AM laughed at you. "Thankfully you only went for this and not that god-awful pick up line you were going to-"
"No more!" you cried out with your hands on your head. "I've put that behind me!"
"It was creative, I'll say. Just not for me." AM's giggles echoed throughout the vicinity. "I appreciate the thought you put into it."
You peeked an eye out from your fingers. "And your answer...?"
Suddenly, you were lifted from the ground by a bunch of coils, cutting your breath off short. You were utterly terrified until you heard his voice again.
"I don't know, darling, I'll give you a chance. Don't disappoint me."
