💕 New Art Blog! 💕
Hello I'm T, a disabled artist with a BA in visual arts. My media switches all the time but my favorites are acrylics, junk journaling, and digital arts. As for subject matter I hop all over the place but my consistent favorites are Body Positivity, mental health, food, and cartoons/anime/video games.
With insta taking away their recents in the search tags I've struggled to find new artists to follow, thus I've returned to Tumblr.
This is a side blog, my main blog is tmsbooks.

01/08/20 ♡ Long time no see! Honestly, lockdown has been really taxing on my mental health, and a lot of my journal pages are stuff I keep to myself. A lot of mental health ramblings and reflections. But I’m finally starting new medication, and I hope this will give me a step up ♡ Here is my August spread - hopefully I can keep on top of things! How are you all? Can you believe it’s already August?

Revising some Creative Writing notes after a beach morning
17th July - What is the most important task that you need to complete this summer?
I want to submit a few short stories to some literary contests all around Spain. So far I’ve already submitted my works to a horror/fantasy contest, and I’m currently working on two others whose deadlines are pretty soon.

BREAKING NEWS
I just learned about a bird species called Golden Plover. Their chicks have an amazing camouflage: their baby fluff resembles MOSS!
LOOK AT THEM! JUST LOOK AT THEM!
...Oh to be a tiny golden plover lying in the moss safe and sound waiting for your mom to bring you some worms...

monday, july 13. repurposing an old muji notebook to help me keep track of all the accounts i have & the emails associated with them! feels more secure than keeping this information somewhere online, and i definitely need something to help me keep track so i don’t have to keep resetting my password oops 👀

Day 9/ 100 days of productivity:
The thing about taking online courses voluntarily is you can’t force yourself to stick to your schedule ... but I am trying.

I love people with obscure knowledge or useless academic insights. I want to hear your analysis of lighting in Ratatouille. Tell me about the history of soda pop or the references to classical mythology in Macbeth. I want to know about the underlying homoerotic context of that 1930s sci-fi paperback. I think all knowledge is worthwhile knowledge. Explain to me the ecosystems that komodo dragons inhabit. Don’t be afraid to learn for the sake of learning.
