On Samuel's first zee voyage he took enough wounds on an island to tip him over to 8, so he just collapsed and died the instant he climbed back into his boat.

On Samuel's second zee voyage he immediately made himself and his entire crew unaccountably peckish by accident, stopped at an island for food and instead got savaged by frost moths, and after several more unfortunate encounters was killed and eaten by his desperate crew.

I wonder if the consequences of throwing bombs into the zee will be explored as part of Whitsun 👀

I fully expected the last explosives event to be a one off, but it’s back, which suggests something bigger is going on, and festivals do often reveal new lore or expand on existing lore. not sure how exactly they would tie these two events together, but Whitsun as a whole is sort of lacking in unique aspects imo, so this would be a good way to differentiate it from other seasonal activities.

like I could be entirely wrong, but it does feel like they’re building up to something with these stories. and the timing strikes me as noteworthy because Whitsun is approaching, which seems like an odd time to drop completely unconnected new lore.

axolotl - The Scrimshander typically doesnt keep pets, but it has grown rather fond of the little brachiating spindlewolf it stumbled on last year. It's always had a soft spot for arthropods, and used to keep pet beetles as a pet.

primordial - Probably falling into the Maw of Annihilation.

plethora - The Six-finger'd Scrimshander collects names! It has many, many, many names.
