I'm enjoying it don't get me wrong but sometimes I have to remind myself BNHA is more thought out than most shonen what do you mean emotional consequences aren't forgotten "control your heart" is not a forgotten plot point and Izuku actually is traumatized by Katsuki being stabbed and then they took a breather at the sunset spot reserved for that talk with Ochako and they look closer in a physical and emotional sense and that's actually canon don't mess with a guy like that let alone a fandom-

What do you mean guilt and shame are the only barriers preventing them from reaching each other when they'd be standing closer by sharing and overcoming it what do you mean Studio Bones confirmed Izuku specifically left because he couldn't see that happening to Katsuki again what do you mean they're simultaneously bound to each other by choice and willingly forced apart by their duties as heroes without realizing the full extent of this choice as if they're twin stars-

i love this scene so much, it really shows how much they've grown. izuku can be openly vulnerable and said what was on his mind to him, and katsuki can accept it and attempt to be reassuring. like he's really trying to show that he cares in his own way :(

i don't think he's telling him to suck it up, i think what he meant here was to stop blaming himself for what happened to him. like they've brought him back to UA and showed him that everything that's happened is not his responsibility, so he shouldn't be so hard on himself anymore. they should start looking ahead, because being stuck in past would just endanger himself with shigaraki and afo. but i think katsuki just failed to understand that izuku wasn't only blaming himself, he was afraid to hurt katsuki. that it wasn't about izuku, it was about katsuki and the potential fatal consequence of his mistake with shigafo. it was fear of losing him.

(nevertheless even if it's not bkdk i still love that izuku has a scene that shows how much the previous events have impacted him.)

Hear me out. The Katsuki vs AFO and Izuku vs Shig battles were both great for a variety of reasons BUT what disappointed me about both of them was the fact that Kat and Izu were fighting primarily by themselves. Yes, Katsuki acknowledged that AFO’s weakened state was the cumulation of many people’s efforts but in the end it was only Katsuki who delivered the final blow. BUT since we’re seeing all of Class 1-A reunite to battle ShigAFO together as a team sets the stage for a perfect Wonder Duo moment. Horikoshi said the finale would be better than what we saw in Heros Rising and this could be it. Izuku and Katsuki are (finally) unified alongside their best friends and classmates as they win and save. He’s thrown some crazy curveballs but I hope this is the direction the manga will go.

edit: ALSO, I forgot to mention. The reason that the Vigilante Arc’s resolution was so beautiful (to me at least) is that everyone in Class 1-A came together and did their part to convince Izuku to return to U.A. I’m hoping that the final battle mirrors the type of collaboration that led them to success a hundred or so chapters ago. Especially considering Katsuki’s critical role in it.
