sometimes I think about how Chris was forced to grow up with the knowledge that he killed an innocent person that was also his brother. he didn’t really have a safe place besides his brother and the afternoons spent listening the hair rock. and he had to grow up with the knowledge that if he would’ve fought a little harder against his father that maybe Keith would still be alive.

“what? you look like you’re lacking on the carbs and this is basically EUROPEAN football.” chris is laughing though, far too smug at the stupid look on adrian’s face when the baguette hits him square between the eyes. another bark of laughter slips free when the bread is thrown back and he catches it with an audible CRUNCH. tossing it a bit between his hands, he pats the bread against his palm thoughtfully. “well it was gonna be lunch but have you felt how hard this is? could’ve thrown a sock instead. it’s a bit softer than this thing.”
grinning a bit, he’s wiggling the bread threateningly.
“go LONG.”
it’s the only warning before he’s chucking the bread at him again.
