The puking. That same look and tone. They were all too familiar. But she expected her girlfriend to react the same way her father did right he walked in on her finishing up with one of her early friends. If she was still the clueless seventeen year old, Jiyeon would've questioned her girlfriend just as she did with her father. Instead, she somehow kept herself calm.

" I know it's not right. "

She set the slide back in its place to close the box, placing it back in it's hidden place. The tools were set aside and out of her girlfriend's view. Being honest about such a thing was difficult now, especially since the last person she spoke about her tendencies was long gone. As well as another who shared the same reason why she was this way.

It broke her internally to see Jinah like this. To even have her father do so wasn't as bad, but she did love her girlfriend.

" I can't make you understand why I do this. Explaining it.. It wouldn't express the haunting pain. "

Gritting her teeth and fists balled up, she simply shook her head. Even without telling a single detail of that certain memory, it made Jiyeon shudder and easily upset.

Did her father ever cover what to do in this kind of situation? No, Jiyeon remembered every little detail of the code and he never did tell her what to do if this happened. But because she was unsure of what to do, it was frustrating her.

" And some of them.. They truly deserve to die. Like those monsters.. " She spoke with a hiss, running her fingers through her hair and tugging on her hair as she felt her anger building up. Her usual calm demeanor was gone and replaced with the anger she held in for twenty years.

" What monsters cut up a mother into pieces right in front of her fucking children?! Then leaving them to three inches of blood for days, surrounded by mangled body parts? "

Jiyeon bursted out and was now panting out. She finally released her locks, not even making eye contact with her girlfriend and eyes glued to the ground as she goes to the direct of the door.

" I need air.... "

When she went out to her living room, she suddenly stopped and gazed around. In her mind, she was back in the horrid place with nothing but blood around her. Back to the nightmare that she hated and made her what she was.

Without any warning, Jiyeon dropped to her knees and hunched over as she felt tears of frustration falling on to her lap.

Jinah was patient. After all, she had waited so long to tell her girlfriend that she was actually a witch. But in this situation, the two things could not be compared at all.

Her eyes watched as she moved, her eyes never leaving her as she walked into the bathroom. 

She didn’t want to lie to her. 

Her eyes watched her as carefully as they could, her mind unsure of what was to come next before her eyes looked right into the box. A sickness came over her, her stomach turned and tightened as she covered her mouth.

There were plenty of things she had seen and heard as a huntress. The lives she had to take during her graduation, the people she watched killed over the years while being powerless to do anything about it. Jinah knew how to kill but she knew what it meant to take a life. She herself never expected to be forgiven, her intention was to survive, to protect but it as never because she wanted to kill.

But her girlfriend’s words… that struck something in her that she hated. Because Jinah had been the person to punish those that killed people.

Once the dreaded statement was said, Jinah’s eyes closed as she rushes back to the bathroom. The sickness she felt she knew couldn’t be cured with simple vomited. She didn’t want to hear anything else, she couldn’t help but to hear her girlfriend’s next statement. Her twisted reason for what she was doing.

She didn’t want to believe it, she didn’t want to deal with it but because of what she said, making her so upset, she couldn’t help the tears that started to roll down her cheeks as she struggled with her anger, disgust, and confusion. 

"So… that’s makes it okay?” 

Jinah managed to get out barely as she turned to look out of the bathroom to her girlfriend, her lover, the person she trusted to know what she was. She couldn’t help her disgusted looking, she couldn’t help her tone either.

"You kill people that deserve it? So, that automatically makes it okay? Does it help you sleep better at night? Does it ease the burden of the fact that you’re a serial killer by knowing that you kill people that deserve it?"

She choked on her words as she spoke, her heart breaking to know that the woman she was in love with, the woman she had been with for months was telling her this.

"You’re not God Jiyeon, you’re not a god at all. No matter what, you don’t have the right to take someone’s life like that… you don’t."

Now, she had the male out in a choke hold to just knock him unconscious. Tightening the grip slowly until his breathing calmed, she set him down carefully and let out a sigh. At least I didn’t accidentally kill someone again. She moved him against a nearby wall and made him look like he had fallen asleep. ” Sleep tight. ” She spoke in a soft mumble before walking off.
