Sometimes I think there's no realistic way Eighty-Six can end with all main 5 eighty-six alive and well if Asato wants to maintain the stakes of the story and that's just
It's the first time they're going on a mission where the survival rate like what it was at the republic and even the recon mission and they feel lonely cuz this time they won't have Shousa's voice connected to them🥺🥺😢😢
The narration in the light novel: Sooner or later, he and everyone he ever got close to would be parted by death.
And in the anime, they're standing back to back with the spider lilies between them(Lena standing on them, Shin not) separating them. Showing she, too, was parted from him by death.
Nah, it's so funny that the major general goes on this whole tangent of needing a force light enough to be carried by plane, powerful enough to do the job, flexible and skilled enough to fight under numerical inferiority, etc in LN and then the anime just goes "EIGHTY SIX DAKARAAA!!!" 😭😭😭
NO WAY he called him the SPEARHEAD of the greatest operation suicide mission that they specifically said they had to choose the ones "most likely to succeed and least likely to be missed" for. ASATO IS INSANE💀💀💀💀💀
If Shin was any less of a valuable soldier with outstanding feats, the federacy really would have made him some experimental subject & an alarm bell or smth. The same federacy that saved them and treated them to everything they were deprived of. That's ugly & real.
They removed any mention of Vika in this scene between nation representatives in the Anime. I think it reinforces that 86 really wasn't made with a second season in mind. Disheartening, but I still hope we get one. Volumes 4-6 are hype as hell after all.
