sorry for the incoming rant I know everyone's a drama queen during playoffs and I try to never take it too seriously, but I just don't see how anyone genuinely thinks trading mitch marner makes this team better. even more ridiculous would be letting him walk for nothing. he has a NMC. he was injured for the entire month of march. he's been deployed very differently in these playoffs than he ever has before. I am so sorry you're deeply offended by his outburst on the bench. I'm sorry he hasn't been scoring enough. I also would like him to turnover the puck less and never take a penalty again. that would be great. but you can't look at how this team has played in the playoffs year after year after year and tell me that the answer to all their problems is removing mitch marner from the ice. mitch marner is a massive part of why they even make the playoffs every year in the first place. say what you want about this game. it fucking sucked. but this team doesn't get better without mitch on it. it just factually doesn't. I don't know why they suck so much. it's not my job to know. but I hope brad treliving figures it out. and I hope he figures it out without forcing us to watch mitch marner win a stanley cup with another team.
