Do you accept fanart of your series and if so is there a preferred tagging system for it? Like if you don't want fanart to show up in the Solace King tag on tumblr should it be Solace King Fanart? Thank you

That would be lovely, if the spirit so moves you! :D The quorum of the authors' group chat is that it's fine to just tag with character names, no "fanart" addition necessary--although if you'd like us to see it it would not be a bad idea to also @ this blog, since I at least don't follow the tags of my own characters on here!

TIL that "sympatico" (via the thing where tumblr shoves random posts onto your dash) is apparently a thing in transformers nsfw fandom, I think its a ship name? but regardless its porn written with mechanical language for everything and that was just plausible enough that I thought it was rich/ship AI porn for a minute, a possibility that I had never considered before today, so I am passing on this cursed concept for others to enjoy

1/2 I've really fallen in love with the Michigan Fleet in the last few months, thank you so much! Of course, I'm hooked by the hurt-comfort and characters and relationships, but I was also charmed by the worldbuilding and work details. I work in large-scale corporate indoor plant care, and the public plants with their little immediate-need holo-screens was a really fun idea for me.

Aw, hooray! We're so glad you're enjoying yourself. It's a delight, as an author, when people can imagine how their own specialties and interests could fit and flourish in the framework of a world you've set up. :D

Related to the previous post: some of the rough color-drafts for various covers so far! The Mitch covers we already knew what color scheme we were going to go for, so it was just a question of tones, but I've been free to have a lot of fun with colors on the other two.

I take After the Storm with me everywhere because reading it helps me cope with my chronic pain. I've read it through probably six or eight times now. My phone keeps logging me out of Smashwords and I keep logging back in (gotta get to the next page!). When AO3 went down yesterday I knew I'd be okay because I have gay boys on Smashwords too. I reload Roach's blog every day hoping for news of the sequel. Thank you all so much for sharing this beautiful novel with us.
