As you walk through the space, viewing remarkable women who have achieved their goals in life, who have impacted society, look into their sillhoutte, see yourself and the world around you. Reflect on what you've done with your life, what your going to do. Interact with this relationship between the past and the future.
Why I chose MILCK “QUIET” as my song over my final video
Connie Lim more known by her stage name MILCK is another incredible woman fighting for woman, what she believes in. As a sexual abuse survivor, she feels passionately towards woman’s rights, their voices and the quality in their voices. Her song “Quiet” is all about finding your voice and discovering yourself. Knowing who you are and the value there is in your voice and speaking up for what you believe in. I felt this strongly related to my narrative, as I really want to convey to participants the importance their voice and who they are.
Final design model, showing your own reflection in the silhouette. While this model doesn’t have the transparency of my final design it is still effective in viewing yourself in the silhouette.
My design topic is an insertion as I want to make an adjustment to my current design space, however not a huge adjustment is required as I intend to simply add the glass panels to the sides of the current archway design.
