1960s century makeup assignment face chart
Tumblr media
I wanted to do the 1960s eye look with the big eyelashes but I also wanted to do a modern look with the lips, so the look can be a bit more trendy.

What trends inspire and define the way I dress and do my makeup today. I am mostly inspired by the 1940s, 1960s and the 1990s. The 1940s has a lot of very feminane but casual suit types of outfits. Most outfits have high waisted pants with a thick band around the waist, it's usually paired with a button up top that is very clean and crisp. This mostly inspires my formal wear, when I go somewhere nice like a restaurant or maybe a family dinner, I don't normally like to wear dresses to big gatherings or events. So I dress very simmal to the photo provided actually. Except it's with black jeans and a button up top, I'm not really into work pants. The 1940s also had very cute summer dresses. They actually remind me of a more basic version of a lollita dress, I am obsessed with lollita dresses. I don't wear dresses often but this style of dress is kind of the basic style that I always base my outfits off of if I'm going to be wearing a dress. The cute little frills and the length of the dress is honestly perfect for me. I'm short so I can't really wear floor length dresses without it looking like I'm drowning in the thing. This is normally my go to length for a dress. In the 1940s there were also swim suits. The swim suits were full body and sometimes had a skirt at the bottom or maybe some frills. The swim suits inspire my personal style in swimwear. I love full body suit swim suits honestly for this exact reason. The 1940s had such cute yet modest swimsuits. I take a lot of inspiration from here. okay , now onto the 1990s. On a basic day I don't normally like to wear form fitting clothes, the 1990s was about big baggy clothes and a lot of inspiration for my outfits come from here. I love the style of having high waisted pants and a tight top with a big beige jacket to cover you all up. I don't own a pair of mom jeans yet, however this is where my desperate need for a pair comes from. My style every day actually gets closer and closer to 1990s casual wear. For the 1960s I am not a fan of the clothing but I love the makeup. I think the makeup is so cute and it give me kind of doll makeup vibes. I think the big eyes that are made with eye liner is really cute and nice honestly. I love the big eyelashes and the thick or dramatic eyeliner. I think it's also very cool how the makeup looks natural yet fake with the dramatic eyes the combination is unique and very interesting. In conclusion every person has some kid of inspiration from any decade. They may not even know that that was where the inspiration came from, but fashion trends always get reused at random points throughout the years. A trend never really dies, it's just waiting to be used again.

Viking makeup
Vikings have the stereotype of being very unclean, unkempt people. However this is actually wrong. Vikings are actually believed to be quite clean and maintain a certain standard of cleanliness. There are artifacts that have been found  that prove this. People have found comets, toothpicks, nail cleaners and tweezers. It's also believed vikings wore makeup. Vikings wore makeup for many different reasons actually, they believed it increased beauty or made you look younger. Other times they believed it made you look scarier when going into war, it was used as a intimidation factor.vikings actually liked to use colour like red or blue, however black was used when going to war. Overall makeup was used much the same by vikings as it is today actually.

1.this outfit is very trendy. Collars and chains are very popular right now. Overall the look is very cool and gives me fantasy vibes.
2.this look is very cute but also very intimidating. The pink flowy material makes if freeing and fluffy almost.but the black leather gives it great contrast and makes it interesting to look at.
3.overall the look gives me a witch kind of vibe. The short black dress and white collar make it look like a witch coven or something. I think it, very cool and edgy especially because its spooky season.
4.this 2 pice plaid outfit look is kind of formal, even with the black latex jacket. Which is funny because you would never expect latex to be formal what so ever.
5.this look is all over the place with the 2 diffrent kinds of plaid, but that just makes me love it more! The items are so random but they still work together great. Like the chain skirt with the plaid skirt and the black leather. So many thing but it just makes it amazing.
Review:
Overall this collection is great. It hit many treands, like the collars and chains. Black leather is also really big right now, so is latex. The overall vibe is unique but also very trendy. This collection also works for all body types. Tall, short, hourglass, paire, heart, any body can really wear it. In my opinion that makes the collection even better. If all body types can wear it then that makes it even more excepting. The collection dose have a lot of muted tones and under saturated colours but to me that just gives it more of a edgy vibe and I like it! In conclusion this is a great collection and I want %90 of the clothes.
