Harvey and Sabrina have been together since their freshman year—they’re now seniors and they have it all planned out. Graduate, then go to college in New York so they can be in the same city at Nick—who’s also Sabrina’s boyfriend and Harvey’s best friend. Harvey would follow her to the ends of the earth. But first he has to tell her something, he knows deep down she won’t be mad and be supportive but something always stops him. Nick is a supportive boyfriend and friend, but he’s watching Harvey crumble with a secret that can easily be solve in telling their girlfriend. But nerves has Harvey in knots and he knows opportunities won’t stay forever.

There’s a right way for a series to jump ships, and there’s a wrong way. After checking the audience’s temperature, it’s clear that Riverdale chose the wrong way for Betty and Archie to get together. Cheating on their respective long-term significant others to rekindle a dormant flame that never really even flickered in the first place isn’t a redeemable action. Not to mention, it builds what could have been a worthy coupling on deceitful foundation. How do you root for them?

Okay I haven’t watched Riverdale in forever but did they seriously make Betty cheat on Jughead like what kind of bullshit is this? As writers they should know how against the character this is but NOOOO they want “twists” and this is exactly what goes wrong with shows like fuck that. I’m going to write my own shit and it’s not going to be for “twist” factor or whatever, it’s going to be true to the characters and maybe they should normalise healthy long term relationships and that’s what I’ll aim for in my writing because this “shock factor” writing is sloppy and BS and never makes sense with the character.

Okay,so riverdale decided to make b/rchie happen....after 4 seasons of solidifying varchie and bughead and giving them so many great scenes while b/rchie barely interacted before the fake cheating storyline.Look,I get it,it is a teen drama,it is supposed to involve things that will shake up the relationships,however was it the best route to go?I mean if they always had this in their mind they could’ve at least show some underlying romantic moments with b/rchie while making varchie and bughead cute ships but without the “we’ll die for each other” narrative,so when “supposedly buried feelings” shook loose it would be more realistic and good writing for that matter.Also they could’ve had the drama without cheating,like in season two when kiss happened when both varchie and bughead took a break,and it was a problem and caused even thought little but still a chaos between the core four when jug and ronnie learned about it later.Like both couple had a fight r in 4x17,right?Make them also decide they need a pause,then b/rchie kisses,but it still shakes things up,bc seriously having your ex and bestie get together after days of your break up is still hurtful and can cause a bitter fallout with little prompting before the supposed time jump.This way Betty and Archie’s characters wouldn’t be ruined as well,bu oh well,it is done.After this all I can say is Archie and Betty dont’ deserve Jug and Veronica,and even though I love both bughead and varchie,but I dont want either of them to take back and Archie and Betty,immediately if writers decide to get them back together.Cheating is not okay,and if they go back to bughead and varchie,Archie and Betty has a long road ahead to prove they really deserve Jug and Veronica.And I am a vindictive person,and if the kiss bomb drops before the time jump prompting them to go their seperate ways,all I wanna see Veronica and Jughead living their best life as best friends while dating other,yes other people who knowstheir worth and overall to be able to heal from what happened,while Betty and Archie realize they are the most bland couple to ever exist,and even some grand musical numbers,with cringe ass “hands on window like they are in some kind of tragic movie where they can’t be together bc their families are blood enemies when in reality they are just two coward people who cant tell to their respective partners that they are confused and need a time off” narrative couldnt save from.I.WANT.THEM.TO.BE.MISERABLE.Whether it is bc they want Ronnie and Jug back or just bc they lost their friendship.Call me childish and vindictive,I dont care.

Look. I'm not saying it's not petty for Nancy Pelsoi to tear up the SOUA. But I wish that the people that are upset about this had channeled that same energy when Trump made fun of a disabled reporter. Or the children in cages. Or when he didn't condemn the alt-right movement and said they were very fine people. Or when he said you can do anything to a woman because you're a celebrity, "they let you go anything, you can grab them by the pussy." Like why are we holding Nancy Pelosi to a higher standard than the President of the United States of America? Make it make sense.
