thinking about when a very attractive young woman wearing a home depot uniform posted a completely normal selfie on her twitter and then when it blew up men were immediately asking âwhenâs the OF dropping??â and when she said âI would never make an OFâ a bunch of OF creators were upset about it and acted like this woman not wanting to do it was a personal insult toward them
the way everyone felt so fucking comfortable trying to push and guilt this woman into joining OF is just another reminder that if even one woman has a price tag, the rest of us will just be seen as products that havenât been put on the market yet

writing commissions & donations
hiii i'm a broke wheelchair dyke on disability aid with bills and debt to pay, and bunnies to feed! i also looove to write for others.
if you're just looking to be kind, here's my paypal (fake name lol)
for fanfics & short stories:
⥠give me the deets: fanfic? short story of your OCs? or just general story idea you keep obsessing over? tell me as many details as you can about the setting, characters, plot points, etc. it doesn't need to be a fandom i know, i will watch or read whatever i need to know the material and the characters well enough to do it right. i love obsessing over fandom wikis and i will often ask a lot of follow-up questions, especially if it includes OCs of yours :]
⥠decide on length: i offer 2000-ish words for $15cad. i say ish only because let's be real, i want the story to wrap up nicely, even if it takes me a couple hundred words more. but it will be 2000+ words
⥠i will take around a week to deliver the final product, maybe less. i will only show half of the story, probably cut off on an annoying cliffhanger, until i get the actual payment
⥠payment is thru paypal, or e-transfers (no checks) within canada
⥠you will be forcing me to join all your favorite fandoms and i will either love or hate you for it (probably both <3)
⥠if you like it enough i can write another 2000 words for $10
⥠if i take more than 7 days i will remove $2 for each additional day
⥠nothing that involves s/exual violence, torture or ddlg pls
⥠that's it ty for reading! hmu anytime!

We really have harmed a whole generation of trans and gnc children by failing to communicate how serious a decision binding actually is, how thereâs no ACTUALLY safe way to bind, how it permeneantly damages the body, how it can make top surgery more difficult in the future. I donât think we should be keeping trans kids from binding (we let kids do all sorts of things theyâre really not old enough to understand the potential consequences of) but we owe them the ability to make informed decisions at LEAST

ok lemme fix this b/c once again, itâs clear that these people have never come into contact w/anyone gender-critical and actually listened
gender-critical feminist: we are here to abolish gender
anti-âterfâ individual:Â oh, so we wonât use gendered pronouns anymore?
gender-critical feminist: changing your pronouns doesnât change the way youâre treated if youâre female (afab). this is missing the point, also, many of us will respect pronouns. many radical and lesbian feminists are detransitioned or in the process of re-identifying and are using/have used he or they pronouns.
anti-âterfâ individual: gendered clothing?
gender-critical feminist: regardless of sex, people should be able to wear whatever they want, especially comfortable and practical clothing. many of us are gnc or butch. we are highly critical of the makeup/beauty industry and femininity being forced on girls. we donât believe in âlipstick strong enough to kill a man.â we think clothes are clothes and a boy who wants to wear dresses is not a girl.
anti-âterfâ individual: segregated bathrooms?
gender-critical feminist: segregated bathrooms were created to give afab women protection from the sexual harassment and violence of amab men. trans women are amab and are still male-socialized and many even have male anatomy still.Â
female bathrooms are not a refuge for everyone who suffers from male harassment and violence. they are for females. should we let gnc gay men into our bathrooms, too? fat men? how do we distinguish between a man and a male-passing trans woman who identifies as a woman on the inside? females have the right to safe spaces in their restrooms.Â
many of us consider single-stall gender-neutral bathrooms a good addition to male and female bathrooms (not a replacement).
anti-âterfâ individual:Â So, weâre going to do something about the gender binary, yes? Weâre going to attack the idea that gender is intrinsically linked to oneâs anatomy, and weâre going to boost the visibility of trans and intersex people, who face the most violence consequences of the sex and gender binariesâyes?
gender-critical feminist: oh, youâre so close to the point! the gender binary is not the source of violence, though. gender itself is.Â
gender is a set of expectations and rules forced on people due to their sex. afab people suffer far worse consequences from this than men, although we also have sympathy for gnc and transitioned males who suffer under patriarchy. we want to end the idea that oneâs personality, interests, sense of style, etc all come as a package with oneâs anatomy.Â
we want to end the idea that females are made for male consumption and males should chase females. we oppose and critique male and female socialization and we want children to be raised in a gender-neutral manner.Â
as for intersex individuals, there are many intersex radical and lesbian feminists and many of us are striving to become more aware of intersex issues. the abuse intersex people suffer at the hands of the medical industry often stems from violent reinforcement of heterosexuality (e.g surgery to allow penetration) or ableism (fixing âabnormalâ bodies even when itâs not medically necessary).Â
there are actually only two sexes and intersex conditions are just naturally-occurring (though often non-functional, as they lead to infertility) variations on male and female.
anti-âterfâ individual: Then what are you going to do, exactly?
What is your plan?
How are you going to accomplish this?
gender-critical feminist: if you acquaint yourself with our actual theory and practice and not just straw-women, maybe youâd understand that.
anti-âterfâ individual: how?
gender-critical feminist: read a book. listen to a woman. stop misrepresenting us, burn-the-witch-ing us, and excluding us from our own feminist and lesbian communities because you canât comprehend centering females.
