If I was honest about how broken I am, would you believe me?

Isn’t it my right to choose to hide from my pain instead of embracing and displaying it? Every time I’m truely alone with my thoughts, confronted with how I really feel, I’m crushed by the weight of regret and condemnation. Maybe I'm weak, but I choose to keep myself busy every waking moment, so that I don't have to face how I feel deep down.

I hate how you believe I have no care or love left for you, how I must be talking disrespectfully of you, how I’m “winning”.
