I have seen a lot of people talk about not being able to support the NWSL anymore due to everything that has occurred and I can understand being frustrated, disheartened, and just plain sickened by it all. To be clear though, a lack of support hurts the players even more. I can support the players but not the club or the NWSL as a whole. We can still show up to games and be as loud as possible demanding change for the players while also cheering them on. We can buy merchandise DIRECTLY from the companies that the players operate or the players association, not from the clubs. We can petition, demand change, and never be quiet about everything that has occurred. We need to do this until the players are safe, happy, and healthy. But they also need their fans. They have been through a lot, and if we can show our support for the players, we should do it.

Back when the Covid Cup occurred, players talked about how difficult it was playing for an empty stadium because they thrive on having people cheering for them. We have to continue to cheer for them through this as well. If the league crumbles, the players suffers as well and all the change they have been striving for becomes a moot point.
