A Palestinian woman speaks about being displaced since the beginning of the war in October from her home in Al-Mughraqa town. She describes enduring very difficult days, constantly moving from one place to another following announcements by the Israeli army about deconflict zones. The latest relocation was from Rafah. Despite that, her family was targeted in Israeli attacks and relatives were killed.

Look, I love Legend of Love with all my heart, I’m probably one of the few outside of Russia who do and close to the only one on tumblr that does. However, Mekhemene Banu’s monologue is PAINFUL when danced by someone with no passion and acting and emotion. I’m watching Maria Bulanova perform it and while physically she looks awesome in the choreography, she offers nothing in terms of artistry and I want to scream. This is such a powerful piece and the music builds perfectly, I don’t understand how anyone can’t put everything into it. She just has the doe in the headlights sad face and it makes me want to scream.

My Nikiya’s death inspired pointe shoes are complete!

I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do with my first pair of pointe shoes, so I decided to decorate them based on La Bayadere. The red shoe is inspired by the traditional red costume Nikiya wears and the black shoe is the flower basket with the snake. 🐍🗡️🩰
