jessicacapshaw: #FBF Yesterday was my last day playing Arizona Robbins after 10 years. It was a tough day. And it turns out that if you’re me it’s also… Joyous. Sad. Exhausting. Hysterical. Ridiculous. Heartbreaking. Inspiring. Wondrous. And a whole other list of stuff that it’s gonna take me a minute to fully feel. Those who were filming yesterday and I were fortunate enough to go through all of that together. I am so grateful to have had @thesarahdrew beside me and I am so grateful to have been alongside her. My first day playing Arizona Robbins was October 29th, 2008 and my last day playing her was April 19th, 2018…💕

19 Kids Who Are In Charge Whether We Dumb Adults Realize It Or Not

Do the writers have any idea that everything that’s happened to Calzona since season 8 has been complete bullshit?

Arizona ‘Good Man in a Storm’ Robbins would never cheat on her wife. Her Calliope. The love of her life. For all intents and purposes, the Arizona we knew and loved died in that plane crash, and has just been resurrected in sparse fragments of decent writing in the past six seasons.

And Callie Torres would never, ever leave Grey Sloan. She is the one that kept everyone from leaving in season 9. Arizona was ready to move away with Callie and Sofia, but Callie insisted that the hospital is something worth fighting for. She convinced Meredith, and Derek, and Cristina to stay and fight, too. To be honest, without Callie, the hospital probably wouldn’t have survived.

And then, all of a sudden, she’s decided she’s leaving with a girl she’s known for about a minute, (and the nicest adjective I can come up for in describing Penny is bland). And, now, she’s taking their daughter, when Callie was the one who always insisted that Arizona should never feel like any less of a parent. She got Arizona the piece of paper that says Sofia’s hers. Then she let her lawyer assassinate Arizona’s character, which backfired, and Callie would never do that. She is too kind for her own good, or, more accurately, was, before the show turned to shit.

Look, I could go on for hours, because Callie and Arizona love each other and everything that happened in that episode from hell (11x05) was clearly out of character and done just for the sake of drama. And, pointless, ineffective drama, at that. No one cares about Jaggie, or Owen and whoever he attempting to impregnate, or DeLuca and Bello, who honestly is just taking screen time away from Arizona Robbins in her last season. I’m just enraged because Shonda Soul-Crusher Rhimes made me care and now I care and it hurts. I hurt.

@Shonda Rhimes, go fuck yourself. (Which, fun fact, is what the fan-funded airplane would have said if it were up to me).

“What’s that? On your finger?”

“You’ve been using an awful lot of personal time lately,” Bailey said, startling Arizona as she updated a patient’s chart on a hallway computer.

“Oh, Bailey! Hi! I didn’t see you there.” Arizona turned so they were face to face. “Yeah, I guess I have. Is that a problem?”

“No. I just wanted to make sure there was nothing I should be concerned about,” Bailey said, pulling something up on her tablet. “Nothing in your personal life, I mean.”

“Nope,” Arizona smiled. “Everything is super. Just spending more time with Sofia. Sometimes I feel like I take her and her choice to be living here, with me, for granted. That’s all.”
