Even though I had complained a lot lately, I finally finished the game; it took longer to complete it because of the minigames, but when it comes to the history per se, I believe everything is ok, and the final part compensated a bit of my disappointment.
I just have to say the end of Episode One is amazing.

‘Who shall separate us from the love of Christ Jesus?’ Romans 8:35
Shall troubles separate us? Never, no outward trouble can separate us from His love. We are never deserted. Jesus is ever at hand. When we call upon His name He intervenes, sometimes taking away the trouble, and at other times giving us the grace and strength to bear it, and at all times consoling us through His Spirit.
Paul mentions famine, hunger and all forms of deprivation that may hurt considerably, and test us sorely, but Christ will place His divine arms around us. Nakedness, poverty, peril, great dangers, war, disasters, the sword, violence , none of these things can possibly separate us from the love of Christ.
‘Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God.’ No created being or power or force, angelic, demonic, earthly, animate or inanimate, have the power to separate us from the immeasurable love of God. This love is the inseparable bond between God and His people.

A thought just hit me here: Did the Duskwood characters (more like Cleo, Thomas and Dan) did REALLY see what the developers were doing? No way I would let them continue and release Moonvale knowing how it looked like, if I was an actor from the other game... Even if my opinion would be disconsidered because, hey, I was only an actor, I would try to do something, yell at everyone about this 😂😅
I think I remember of hearing Everbyte saying they let some people play the first episode before the fans, and it was hugely approved... Anyone can confirm this?

More about Moonvale
This is just one more complaint, because I'm disappointed and upset. I may be repeating something from my last post.
Two years of waiting just to get a game whose design makes me think I'm playing a doll dressing game that 10 y.o little girls love… Sorry, but this was my impression about the game's design, the sound of the opening, the colors, the AI pictures for the profiles, the fact that it costs 45 coins for just ONE diamond when you need 25 diamonds… Having to buy diamonds all the time…
Not to mention the cute opening image, that flashlight with a warm background, so different from the cold colors and the skull from Duskwood's opening screen, and also the dramatic song that scared me the first time I opened the game, the raven sound effect in the background...
And also, the polemic AI images they used to represent the characters... bro, that one killed me... Would it be so expensive for them to just get a random real person's photo and put it as the profile picture? I would volunteer for it 😂😅 (not that my face is great, but is at least real) and would ask for much money...
Also, the characters have no real profile, no pics of them, no Instagram fake profile so we would know them better... Duskwood made its characters so real by doing this...
Not to mention the pay to play thing.
I'm really sorry Everbyte, I still like you guys, it won't change, I respect you for all the prior games you've made, but I fear to say you 'kinda' failed with us this time... I was expecting something VERY different from that...

1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, ``Do not look at his appearance... because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
We often judge people based on their outward appearance. But God looks deeper, he sees their heart.
He sees their brokenness, their pain, and above all their deep spiritual longing. Jesus always sought people who were in distress, who needed healing, both physical and spiritual. He always gave them the good news of the gospel.
Today, let's ask God to give us eyes to see as the Lord sees. We don't know what the people around us are going through, our family, our colleagues, our neighbours and friends. Let's ask God to fill us with compassion, love and understanding, that instead of judging them we might be a source of comfort to them. Let's not always be self absorbed, let's reach out to those around us.

What consoles me now is the fact that I wasn't excited or anxious about Moonvale. Just waited patiently for it and downloaded it when I was free to play. At least, my disappointment is not as big as it could have been...

About Moonvale
May contain spoilers ⚠️
Guys, is it just me, or you also felt disappointed with the design of the game? I don't know, but it looked so 'cheap' to me, comparing to Duskwood's design screen, the buttons, the sound effects... When I first placed my eyes on it, I felt like it was almost an infantile design, like games for children... (sorry, English is not my native language, I don't know if I expressed myself correctly this last line)
