((Hello everyone. Just popping on to say sorry about disappearing for a few weeks. I was in NYC for a week earlier in June and then when I came back a few days later, I very gracefully spilled Mountain Dew all over my laptop and it took them a week to get back to me and say that the keyboard would need to be replaced and said keyboard won't come for another 5-7 days. Joy.

But basically all my Picard icons are on that computer and, since most of my RPs here so far have been short-form with icons, I just haven't been able to do much here. But hopefully once I get my computer back I'll be on more.))

"The Moors?" the captain repeated, making sure he'd heard her right. If he was remembering correctly, the Moors were often times places of magic in ancient Earth fairy tales and myths. Myths that Picard had learned to not discount since often there was a glimmer- or more- of truth to them in some way.

"Perhaps you should come with me."

”Yes— I didn’t know it was possible to leave Earth! I’ve never heard of anything like it. And no, I don’t. I was in the forest on the edge of the Moors… and then I was here.”

"Indeed? The Enterprise was there not too long ago to assist in the repairs of some aqueducts in the area, among other things. It's quite nice, though I personally would find it difficult to be on board anything but a star ship."

"That’s what I’ve heard of the Prime Directive from other Starfleet officers, Captain. I’ve spoken with a few aboard Deep Space Nine."

Interesting. Picard had assumed that some of the crew had taken the opportunity of their time off while the Enterprise was in dock for repairs to organize a game with the officers of the station- hence his not recognizing the man. But it seemed he had guessed incorrectly. Not that that helped explain the man's choice of clothing.

"For me? What for?"

"No, I actually came here to— wait, you can play cricket in the Holodeck? I mean no! No, I am not here for cricket, I was looking for you, actually."

"Yes, of course, doctor. Though I'm not sure how it will explain all of this," Captain Picard said, gesturing to the ship around him. One that was fairly different from the one that he'd been on only what seemed to be a few moments ago.
