How to Solve Alientech KESS3 Error 007C-0005-8000?

Quick Question:

When I connect Alientech Kess3 and it is sychronizing, it always gives error 007C-0005-8000 and cannot launch software app.

Here is the Possible Solution:

1)If every time you link the device for the first time, this error will appear during the synchronization process. The red light POWER will be on when you link the device for the first time (no external power supply is connected). When you open the software for synchronization, the power light will go out and an error message will appear.

The fault prompt in the picture shows that when you click Confirm without unplugging the USB, after waiting for about 2 minutes, the green data light will light up and the red power light will not light up. At this time, you open the software again, and the device can be synchronized smoothly and the device can be used normally.

2)If it doesn’t give me the error anymore but the software says “no tools connected”

Close the program and reinstall usb drivers.

*If the error remains, maybe tool or USB cable is broken, so open a ticket and send KESS3 back to Alientech

Here is how to troubleshoot it:

1.Check if phone could find Bluetooth signal of VCI

2.Check if other Autel Tablets are connecting to VCI

3.Try to connect VCI to MK908 PRO II using USB cable

4.Upload VCI log after Bluetooth connection fails

How to upload VCI log?

After VCI is disconnected,

1)Select Maxitools apk>> VCI setting

Select Advanced level on three options (if options are available)

2)Select Collect Log, tick Every Five Minutes

3)Select Clear, and select Start

4)VCI error repeats

5)Go back to Maxitools apk>>Collect Log>>Stop>>Upload

6)Go back to Maxitools apk>>VCI setting, restore options to defaults

2023-2025 GR86 Toyota Subaru BRZ AKL Programming Tips

Here is a case of 2023-2025 GR86 Toyota Subaru BRZ all key lost from Qussi Marji.

Vehicle:

No bypass cable for smartbox

There is no eeprom in it

No Smart box reset

What he tried and failed:

Tried it as a Subaru nothing works

Techstream Will not even recognize the vehicle when the ignition is off The ignition has to be on there is no emergency flashers no opening the door or closing the door will work nothing will work

If you've never done this vehicle now you know

Vehicle got towed from Antioch dealership Sat there for a month then towed to Concord dealership then to locksmith then to me.

No one was able to communicate with vehicle because the ignition does not turn on

Solution:

The only way to turn the ignition on is to purchase

Smart box with the key already married to it and the steering lock module

1)Replace smart box and steering lock module

2)Turn ignition on

3)Login with your Techstream account

4)Enter your VSP ID and passcode

5)Program a second key

6)Register CU steering lock

7)Put everything back together and get paid

Tips:

Only Mongoose can communicate the J2534 from Autel IM608 II kept failing when doing security functions

This vehicle has no all keys lost procedure in utility menu in techstream It has immobilizer registration function and it will not approve unless you have a working key because it asks for owner confirmation when you're adding a key and if you Don't have a working key That's how the procedure works

How to Activate Full ECU/ Odometer/ Airbag Function on OBDSTAR G3?

One customer asked why there is big difference between OBDSTAR DC706 and OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3. The BODY module document shows that, the same with ECU. DC706 has plenty more options.

He also asked if G3 is with odometer license and if he needs to pay to activate it. The manual from official website doesn't seem to have the license.

Here Cardiagtool will show you how to activate these licenses:

1)ECU Cloning License for OBDSTAR G3

G3 supports basic ECU Clone.

This license would enable full ECU cloning function on G3 (same as OBDSTAR DC706)

2)Odometer Correction License for OBDSTAR G3

G3 doesn't support Odometer Correction.

This license would enable full odometer correction function on G3 (same as OBDSTAR ODOMaster)

3)Airbag Reset License for OBDSTAR G3

G3 supports basic Airbag Reset

This license would enable full airbag reset function on G3 (same as OBDSTAR P50)

4)Test Platform License for OBDSTAR G3

G3 doesn't support Bench Test Platform.

This license would enable full bench test platform function on G3 (same as MT501, MT502, MT101)

One customer gave feedback that he cannot use Launch X431 PAD VII Tablet on AC Delco TDI. He just updates SmartLink C, but the VCI won't work, how to fix it?

Here we will show you how to run Launch X431 SmartLink C as a J2534 VCI.

Instruction:

1)Install Driver

Go to https://en.cnlaunch.com/products-detail/i-227.html#pro_download.

Download "J2534 Tool and operation manual.rar".

Unzip file and you will get

Run "Launch J2534" to install driver.

2)Update Driver

After installation, run "Launch J2534".

Connect SmartLink C to PC and vehicle.

Select "Update".

3)Run OEM software

e.g. Techline SPS2

After we buy subscription, launch Techline Connect.

Here we select "Launch J2534".

Launch SmartLink C is connected.

SPS2 works well.
