A shiver runs down his spine at the touch, said wings fluttering in response before they settle again.

It's warm, summer creaping up on them. Hot enough to shed a layer or two despite being too comfrotable to leave his nest.

Which lead to this prediciment, settling for a shirt cut wide and loose enough for his wings to stretch freely, practically a back-less tanktop. The plus side is he gets to stay burried among the cozy, soft blankets and cuddled up with present company.

The, debatable, downside, is the open back leaves him exposed to-well, that kind of move.

He shifts to smack the other gently and playfully in the face, peering back over his shoulder just enough to snicker at the loose feathers stuck in his hair.

"'Tickles, jerk~" He teases lightly, a coo to his tone that betrays any attempt at sounded remotely serious about the protest.

💭 + romance

In a practical sense, he doesn't put much stock in romance. He's a hero, he's too busy, etc etc. But deep down and in practice he's 100% a fall fast and hard hopeless romantic.

He gets crushes easily, but generally doesn't let them go any further and most of them fade if he just ignores the butterflies.

But if he ever did let himself indulge in romantic feelings more, he'd be a very devoted and attentive partner, maybe even a little overwhelming, they'd have to tell him to back off a little, which he happily will.

He'd love to plan dates, big romantic geastures unless specifically asked for something more lowkey, at least in an early relationship. He definitly sees and enjoys the more calm domestic side of a relationship, too.

Have you tweaked the character from canon? If so, what did you tweak?

Oh my god so much.

I took canon out back and shot it day one, Hawks is mine now Hori hand him over.

But to answer more seriously, I leaned heavily into the fandom headcanons of Hawks having a secretly more blatant mutation quirk and giving him all kinds of bird features and habits, I also tend to give him more personal issues the show (as far as im aware) hasn't adressed at all.

I'm also on board with the "hero commision are the bad guys" angle and he has a lot of trauma from his time with them when I write him. Anything from just anxiety and too much expectation for his age being put on him, all the way to straight up blatant abuse depending on what my partner is okay with me doing.

Funnily enough I’m putting the finishing touches on a Toga blog right now. She’s definitly a big fave of mine, I think under the right circumstance I’d maybe give Izuku or Bakugo a serious try as muses too.

What’s the best thing about the fandom?

It might sound a little cheesey but I think other fans. Especially content creators and my fellow RPers. The things I’ve seen come from the collective mind of this fanbase are absolutely amazing. The art, the fics, the threads I’ve done or seen on my dash. Ya’ll in this fandom are so amazingly talented and I’m happy to be a part of it

What’s the worst thing about the fandom?

Sadly, also the fans. For every sweet, kind and amazing fan there’s the ones that spoil things for other people. The idiots who harass people and send death threats over ships or even just liking certain characters. Every fandom has them these days, and while I like to think I’ve been luck enough to keep my nose to myself and never personally come across any, it upsets me they’re even out there in the first place.
