It’s my birthday so it would be fitting to talk about one of my favorite car shows. This past year happened to be my 12th SEMA Show. The best of the best gathers at the Las Vegas Convention Center and naturally I was there to take it all in. I’m going to be honest and say that I can’t fit my favorite shots from SEMA in one post. Even scaling it down to 20 photos was hard enough. Red 36 Ford truck named Trokita Loca in the @luxor_wire_wheels booth, purple Liberty Walk Lamborghini Aventador on Forgiato Wheels, and finally this pretty in pink @moraleskustoms ‘ widebody Dodge Challenger Hellcat. I’m actually going to start part 1 of this post with this Liberty Walk Lamborghini Urus and Corvette C8 parked outside in the @DubMagazine booth, a satin black Lamborghini Huracan STO parked in the @Gintani booth, the amazing interior of @harvey_reyes_1964 ’s Lincoln Continental, @jimmyhumilde.rh ‘ ’64 Impala, @Fredrarriii ’s ’73 Caprice Classic parked in the @CorleoneForged Wheels booth, another Liberty Walk Lamborghini Urus parked in the @ToyoTires booth, much like this Tesla, I’m not for everybody, ’73 Caprice Classic customized by and parked in the @extremeauto1 booth, @Nava_da_hnic ’s 71 impala parked in the @qa1motorsports booth and FINALLY, this 1960 Chevy Impala that was comfortably parked in the @hoppos_inc_art booth. If I could recommend a car show to go to that would take you out of your shell (depending on where you’re from), go to Midwest Fest. The Midwest Fest bonanza is one of my favorite weekends in the entire year. The weekend goes as follows- Friday is the block party- in which I spend all of 25 minutes at (I’m introverted. I take two laps around the party then leave.), Sunday is Stunt Sunday where I find myself standing in the middle of MLK over by Family Dollar. But the main event is Saturday where about 70-75% of the Silver Spoon event center parking lot is occupied by the show. The main event is massive show that shows the best of the best in the Midwest… even though cars from the South do find their way there. Just go, you won’t regret it. I did show Part 1 a couple of days ago, and here is part 2, which is photos from the MidwestFest edition of Stunt Sunday. I really liked this blue Buick Wildcat on Forgiato Wheels. Two weeks after the MidwestFest bonanza was Whip Addict Car Show. Much like last year, I still loved the location since it was conveniently located in downtown Atlanta at the Home Depot Backyard. Depending on how the cars were parked, you could get a gorgeous view of the Atlanta skyline. At times, this show felt more like a family reunion more so than a car show, since every three steps I took, I ran into a familiar face. Most importantly, I still saw cars I’ve never seen before… and I didn’t have drive far to do so. Win for me. So my favorite shots goes as follows.. I’m setting things off with this Chevy Deluxe on @rucciwheels . After two very long years, I finally returned home for the @nyautoshow . A bit smaller than previous shows, this was the first show since the pandemic started so I knew it would be somewhat different. But at the end of the day, I was just happy to be there. My favorite shots goes as follows… the #Jeep Experience will never get old and yes, they have it set up right in front of the Javits Center. I’m not a #Subaru person but I loved their booth space for the new Outback. I can always count on Manhattan Motorcars for bringing my personal favorite vehicle… the Lamborghini Urus. The major push for last year’s show was electric vehicles and @vinfastus brought a few vehicles like the VF7. Not really my speed but I’m more partial to the Mercedes EQS. Another interesting piece of eye candy was the Deus Vayanne, which is a 2200 horsepower electric hypercar, which was probably the star of the Auto Show. @Radwoodofficial teamed up with the @saratogaautomuseum and they provided a lot of nostalgic vehicles such as the Nissan President Sovereign. The most popular vehicle in the Chevrolet booth is the 2023 Corvette Z08. I found this @crownspeedlab customized Ferrari 488 parked downstairs. And finally… to bring it back around full circle, I didn’t expect to fall in love at the Auto Show but this blacked out Jeep Wagoneer stole my heart.
