There is no possible reality where this is in any way capable of being passed off as self-defense. It was never self-defense. It is, and always has been, a genocide.

israel has launched an invasion and heavy bombing of rafah(a.k.a the "safe zone" 1.7 million Palestinians were forced into) after the UN approved a ceasefire resolution for the rest of ramadan... all 2 weeks of it. results were 14 votes for YESes. 0 NOs. and 1 didn't vote(take a guess who it was) the resolution called for an unconditional release of all hostages on both sides. so yes, mr "i am totally just doing this to get my hostages back whom i totally care about and totally didn't kill" Israel is launching harder attacks even after being promised all hostages release. just in case anyone was still questioning if Israel was using hostages as just an excuse for colonialism

russia tried to turn it into a permanent ceasefire but the US vetoed it. i guess vetoing a ceasefire looks less bad when russia is the one proposing it

im not sure if this is out of line and please ignore me if it is, im sorry, but truly i think that detransitioners deserve a bigger place in the community as a whole (as in the whole lgbt+ community) because what is detransitioning if not transitioning again? you're going through the process of changing your body so it better matches what you want. so am i. so what if the reason why you're going through this process is different? i used to think i was a girl for most of my child/teenagehood. i thought i was a lesbian for a while. i also identified as gender fluid for some time. people change and most importantly people learn more about themselves as they grow. much like i discovered im actually a man, you are discovering who you actually are despite what you first believed in.

it's okay to grow and it's okay to learn. please don't be so rough on yourself.

I really hate that i have regrets and that I now have to deal with actual dysphoria on top of the other issues that I was originally mistaking for dysphoria, but you're right that it is ultimately just another transition in many ways.

I really believe that detrans inclusion in lgbt+ spaces is slowly going to increase, and I think having pro-trans detrans people's experiences considered and shared will help create better care for all of us, trans and detrans people.

Even though im still often in a really bad place emotionally about my own transition + detransition right now, ultimately I really hope that I can use my experience to help make that happen.

I posted about Palestine on social media for years with zero interaction. No one wanted to talk about it and it has always seemed too far removed for americans to give a shit about.

So again I just want to remind people, it's never been like this before (in the us). This movement has always been here, but they can no longer bury it.

The fact that protests and boycotts have been sustained for going-on 6months, that's not nothing. This should be evidence to you that we can sustain the momentum, we must, and use this momentum for radical changes within ourselves, our habits, and our education.

We have the rest of the world to catch up with.
