A familiar sound reached the dancer’s ears. He had been looking for his friend, but now Theren seemed to be nearby. Quickly, he followed the sound, and saw the Bard Extraordinaire playing in front of an excited crowd.

"Depends, I'd be happy to explore Kaladesh, Theros maybe? I could use a different atmosphere.", Celes replied.

Celes hugged Theren tightly. "I don't think I have any words for this. I'm just amazed you're back." It was not like the dancer needed words to convey his feelings or react to the bard. His glittering skin said enough, and a hug was worth more than a thousand words.

"Since Kasfen died, I lost my home, and when you.. I-I went to the outskirts. I took a long break from.. everything. But you're back, and there might be a cozy place for me on Kaladesh." His skin changed to a soft blue gleam. "You're here, and that's what matters. H-how did you even come back? Does it have to do something with the night sky in your shadows?"

"Theren! I.. where do I even start?", the dancer said, at a loss for words. He hugged back, laying his head on the bard's shoulder. His emotions seemed more articulated than before, and Celes let it seep in. "I'm so happy to see you again!"

The dancer smiled as he heard the connection, admiring Theren’s starry new look. Slowly, the music made him forget his surroundings as the mist grew more compact, breaking up into small orbs of light, starting to fly around them in the rhtyhm of the Innistradi tune.

Celes hoped Theren felt his presence, as the lines of light splitted, turning into a glimmering mist.

A bright orange line of light formed between his fingers as he let it loose to fly around him, a blue starting to spiral around the orange line, reacting to Celes’ movements, and the sound of the lute.

Celes really wanted to join Theren, but disturbing him like that wouldn’t be good. Instead, he let the energy of the music flow into him through his arms, fueling a dance.

Celes nimbly made his way through the crowd, to get near Theren. His skin started to show a soft orange gleam, small sparks running over his arm showing his excitement. He waited for Theren to finish his song before approaching him.

Love!!

Finally after two months of work I finished this commission for @thetalesofthereneverwood ! He wanted a piece representing characters from a bunch of blogs in the MtG rp community.

The note at his door made him shiver. He had no home anymore. His belongings were taken, and perhaps he had nowhere to sleep this night. The door was locked as well. The dancer turned his back, and made his way to the square.

After checking his surroundings, he put his feet in a wide stance, and started to dance. Not as fluidly as usual, but fiery and agressive. A mix of helplessness and anger fueled his dance. Three flaming orbs flew around him, sometimes bursting out in slightly bigger flames.

“My bed, my pillows, and most importantly, my harmonicon. But that’s about it. I.. don’t need a lot of stuff anyway.”
