Some people get abused for 20 years and then go on to live a good life. Some people are severely mentally ill for a decade and then go on to have 30 amazing years. So don't give up on yourself because your recovery takes more than six months. There's still hope!

struggling with mental illness doesn’t have to be a perfect, beautiful tragedy. it can be gross, messy, and damaging. unsightly survival is far more profound than wasting away gracefully.

with the new rise of wanting to be a stay at home mom or housewife, (specifically i see im our community) please have some plan or money to fall back on. it is okay to have that lifestyle but please at least work a few years and save the money, go to school, etc before you put yourself in a housewife or SAHM situation. it’s absolutely okay to do that if that’s what YOU want to do, just have a backup plan. a man can leave, cheat, lose his job, and you never know, it CAN happen to you. you don’t want to feel like you’re bound to stay with someone just because you have no money/job. yes i know working sucks but we don’t want to be miserable, just enjoy that lifestyle once you have a few thousand saved up
