i’m growing to hate the stranger things fandom because some of you are so racist and misogynistic.

90% of the nancy wheeler hate is fuelled by misogyny because some steve fans (this is coming from a steve fan!!) cannot handle the fact that steve isn’t a little angel, so they put 100% of the blame for their relationship collapsing onto nancy. steve was not a good boyfriend, yes nancy lied to him about how close she was with jonathan but that is no excuse to slut-shame her and call jonathan a queer. she was grieving and he was not providing her with the comfort she needed. and at the end of volume 2, how are some of you mad at NANCY for kissing her own BOYFRIEND? it isn’t her fault steve is still hung up over her??
