I am STILL ALIVE TOO. Been a hot moment, as I've been busy with other things, and I did take a break from my project for a bit. But I am hoping to pull that back up tonight and work on Xayah's part. But seriously, thank you so much for your patience, and for those who stuck around in my silence. I have just gotten down to 9-10 drafts on my multi-blog, which is a first in a long time ( I used to have 30+) . It hasn't been easy, and it isn't lack of excitement by a longshot. My writing muse is just...tired. It works when it wants LMAO. But I am trying to use the multi's completion that as an incentive to work on Rakan's blog re-vamp!

Woooo, I disappeared for two weeks. I had the ‘vid one week, and a nasty cold after. I thought the third week I would be able to draw, but right now I have two fingers bandaged on my dominant hand…which makes it hard to hold the pen without cutting off circulation 😂. It has been something eLSE. I’ll eventually get Rakan up and running! ~

One thing I wanna re-work after I am done setting my blog up again is Rakan's fully corrupted/evil verse. I don't want to make him one dimensional like r..ito did ( my baby got the dirty side of the boot with character development during that event) , and I'm here to set things straight. //8

But no, I kid. With my method, I work in sections because it's easier for me. So Like. The body itself, the pants, the tail, the wing cape, the hair, the feathery shoulder things, the gloves, and the gem?? I drew them all in separate line-art layers. I usually TRY to merge a few into one when I am done, but I admit, there are some I keep unattached for easier editing. But It stresses me out to do one single line-art layer, and my perfectionist butt will go back and edit things as I go, thus I found this is easier for my flow. It keeps my frustration levels down when I can easily erase something and it won't take away from what I'm already happy with.

And then with colors, each gets their own layer ( and I found that I like to color in grayscale after I line-art because it helps me see things better when I draw the next line-art section on top of it. I lower the opacity ofc.) Again. Easier editing when I start to add in the actual colors. They'll all probably be merged into one when I begin to shade though.

It'll all be cleaned up by the end, I promise LMAO.

Hey ya'll. Been gone for a couple days with no updates on my project. Truth is, I haven't been working on my art project, because I came down with the 'vid 💀. Thankfully, it has been very minor so far, but I'm still taking precautions since my fam already had it , and I don't want them to get it again haha.

#&&. my mom is a school teacher to elementary schoolers and that's how she accidently brought it home to us rIP #&&. Other than a sore throat ( and a headache yesterday) I've been doing fine #&&. compared to the last time I had this / This one was more of a breeze to tolerate #&&. no fever or full body aches thankfully #&&. that's what brought me fully down the last time rIP #&&. ooc ( a mun who isn't as graceful as her muse )

I was discussing with Twinnie, and we both believe that Purified Rakan would definitely be indifferent towards his former team. I don't think he wants to outright hate them and lose them as friends, he would at least want to TRY to give them a chance. But I do believe he cannot trust them anymore as a 'TEAM' , hence why he won't go back under Ahri, Fortune, or Neeko as a 'star guardian'. Basically, as Twinnie put it - "I don't want to hate you, but also fuck you, you left your teammate behind to die???"

I just want to put it out there, for anyone new who has followed recently ( or anyone who has been a long time follower), that asks/submissions/and threads are closed and going through a phase of clean up! 8D I promise, I'll get my stuff back in order again soon (I REALLY want to finish my art piece first because it will be front and center on my blog's background and such and I'm too excited to see it come together) But this means I am going to have a TOTAL clean out. Clearing my ask box, clearing all threads. I want to start over without the pains of moving blogs lol. Same rakan, new everything else haha. I hate to delete things, but I haven't truly been active on Rakan for a year due to life, and I'm just now starting to get my passion for writing back. So thank you for your patience with me. I love my golden chaos birb and I can't wait to throw him at peeps again.

It's always super trippy for me to hear music from games I know/and play be used in other situations OUTSIDE of it's original source. Like, my grandpa is watching the Ravens/Texan football game and I suddenly picked up on 'Warriors' being played in the stadium at one point 😂. I mean, it fits, of course. But it still gives me whiplash.
