Charmy hung on to the red shell beneath him just in case he slipped off. Enjoying the ride the little one blanched however at the sight of all the greens.
“Ew gross! What are you doing with that?! You’re not gonna eat it are you!? You like that stuff just like Espio?!”

The old brown couch that sat in the middle of the Chaotix detective agency was hardly something one would describe as comfortable. Still it did its job of elevating its bearers burdens for a short period of time. There is where Charmy bee, junior member of the Chaotix slouched in a self indulged pity party. His chin met the soft roundness of his chest as he glared at a wall and half haphazardly kicked his feet back and forth in quiet anger at being left behind.
Vector and Espio just ten minuets ago had departed for a detective job which had been categorized as extremely dangerous. While the duo was sure they themselves could handle the opportunity to get some much needed cash, they had deemed the situation much too hazardous for their junior employee. Thus he sat grouchy and put out on the living room couch with an old friend to ‘baby bee sit him’ like he was some kind of five year old…which he was but still!
“This is so boring and stupid!” the angry little bee suddenly outburst, tiny hands thrown up in the air in disgust, “I can go on missions! I have a stinger on my butt! I’d be amazing!”

The little bumble bee continued his rant, not allowing his mind the time to process the armadillos’ statement fully. Already he was in the air buzzing and fussing, his limbs thrown about in a mild tantrum.
“I’m not a little bee! I’m a big strong tumbl’n rumbl’n bumbl’n bee! I could take out everyone even Dr. Buttnick!” he took a fake swipe in the air with a small fist.
Letting out a large huff of air in frustration Mighty’s words finally sunk into his tiny frazzled brain, “...wait...Uncle? What’s an Uncle?” forgoing his current rant Charmy took that moment to flutter over to the Armadillo and perch himself atop his red shelled head as if it was his spot all along.

“Oh yeah?” Charmy was a bit surprised to be grabbed but the comfort of the other’s arms reminded him of his own Espio....and despite the comfort he felt a bit lonely. The thought of someone hearing him and coming to hurt his new friend was scary.

“Aw shucks thanks!” Charmy rubbed at the back of his helmet in embarrassment at the compliment. Usually he’d tell people off for calling him cute or adorable but this guy sure seemed down in the dumps and it made it worse he looked just like Espio from his home.
