I've been trying to give away this blog for years to no avail and new people follow and reblog it all the time despite me being inactive af for damn near a DECADE so let me try posting st to piss yall off so you'll take it
David bowie was a terrible person and anyone that stans him that is an apologist for the well known horrible shit he did and willingly chooses not to learn about all the other horrible things he did is a hypocritical weird mf. i was very popular in the late 00's - early 10's in the bowie Fandom on here and even often got into it with a bunch of the bowie Mean Girls who i found some are STILL on here stanning a literal n4zi, race, culture/religion, and child fetishizer as if we aren't almost or over 30 fucking years old now. its gross. he's not grooming us by proxy anymore. grow up.
no further questions thank you

After having waited excitedly for the show to be released all throughout 2019 and 2020, I’m pretty disappointed with it after watching it twice. It doesn’t depict drug addiction realistically, not even in the slightest. Also, the cast is too old to play 13/14 year olds. They are also dressed in a way that doesn’t fit the late 70s vibe. They are always in those fancy outfits that aren’t really 70s, rather a mix of 80s and 90s theater fashion. They look like hipster college students. Not like drug addict child prostitutes. The story line is weird too. They jump from one scene to another with strange "special effects" that don’t make any sense with the story and the actors don’t convey any real emotions most of the time. They seem pretty bored throughout the whole series, though they have to deal with being addicted to drugs, prostitution, rape, homelessness etc. All in all, the series is glamorizing drug addiction in a very dangerous and cringe way. It has gotten many bad reviews, but of course many very young viewers think it’s amazing...

Heißt es im Original nicht „dem Rausch huldigt, aber den Süchtigen verachtet”?
Wir leben in einer Welt, in der die Menschheit den Rausch auslebt, aber den Drogensüchtigen verachtet.
