i bullied @ionomycin into doing an art trade with me, in which they drew my Essek design and i drew theirs. i was beyond ecstatic to draw io's Essek, his white eyes and white freckles and big cute ears and floppy sleeves have bewitched me. we also align on our white nails!Essek opinions, which is a delight. and the medieval scandinavian vibes are irresistible okay.

i tried my best to do him justice in my art, but you should definitely look at the way io draws their Essek! and please check out io's part of the trade or i will break into your house at night and rearrange all of your furniture

Also also before I go to bed: Luc calling every member of the m9 an aunt/uncle. Yasha hanging out with Caduceus while Beau is on a business trip. Kingsley helping Veth track down her tennage rebel son. Caleb having pieces of everyone’s homes in his spell components for easy teleportation. Jester apparently using sending to call everyone each morning. At the first sign of trouble the way everyone immediately flocks to each other. It’s so refreshing to see a family remain found even after the hardships that brought them together are dealt with! They might not be physically in proximity to each other anymore but the mighty nein remain family and involved in each others lives!!!

Yasha is convinced their cake is a half gooey half burnt mess because Essek was wearing gloves the entire time they were baking (alchemist habits) and due to that none of his love had transferred from his hands to the ingredients. also she wasn't sure what baking powder is

(it was actually Essek fucking up the temperature. they did get all the ingredients right down to the gram though)

shout out to @ionomycin for making me think about Yasha and Essek baking cakes together, and @khalliys for giving me an absolutely hilarious mental image of Yasha making Essek wear her apron

hearing from a friend who’s watching through sophomore year is just reminding me how INSANE the leviathan episodes were. we had drunk tattoos we had bill’s warlocks we had sandra lynn/garty/gilear drama we had the friendship section we had Fabian’s Bad Day. Ayda Aguefort. Chungle-Down Bim. fucking KALINA. nothing will ever top the bad kid’s spring break pirate cruise in terms of raw insanity

Pike awakens after a soft kiss on the forehead, deep in mourning and a whisper, “I am sorry my dear one, but you are needed.”

Kash’s arm itches, as a dark whisper that he has long ignored breathes directly in his ear: “One last job, my husband.”

Opal cries in her sleep as cold hands cup her chin and wrap around her sister's mouth, "You wanted me to do some good, didn't you, little one? Help me then."

Dariax stares into the fire, feeling a hollowness he can't quite explain. There is something bad coming.

Jester gets a knock at her door as a panicked man dressed in green barrages into her home: “Jester! We’ve got trouble!”

A continent apart, two brothers look skyward, one amidst softly lapping waves another under curse dapples leaves, a soft feminine voice stating, “My children, I am sorry but you must stand again.”
