Well that’s the end. I’ve got tears in my eyes from watching Darth Vader slowly retreat with Ahsoka’s lightsabers from a clone’s helmet painted with her colors. And all I can feel is despair. Despair that despite everyone’s efforts the ending doesn’t change. Despair that once this sadness only extended to a handful of characters but now there’s an entire galaxy of names and faces that I’ve come to love that have deal with the crushing weight of the empire and that hurts so much more.

And mostly despair that there’s no more episodes. This wonderful story that I love so much is over. Watching these last two seasons I really felt like I was a kid again anxiously waiting for Friday night when I could watch Anakin and Ahsoka and Obi-Wan take on the galaxy together. I know there are more stories and more media out there but this will always and forever be MY Star Wars. As sad as I am, I don’t want it any other way.

If you followed this blog til now, thank you for sticking with my ramblings. It’s been nice to see that people agree with me sometimes. I don’t intend to make any new posts for any of the other related series since this was purely a rewatch blog but likely won’t delete this blog either.

I know they won’t see it but I also want to thank the entire Star Wars: The Clone Wars cast and crew. Thank you for being such an instrumental part of my life. Thank you for the care and love and passion you’ve put into this series and still put towards the fans. Of all the interactions I’ve been lucky to have with those of you I’ve met in person, I’m glad it was you who made this series. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better.
