anyway i love that ava is So smart & so feeling? not to be too serious or whatnot but i'm so heartened by student movements happening rn, especially across universities in the US, that are rooted in both deep history & deep care. i think ava in p much any au (also in canon but that's kind of harder lol) would LOVE organizing in community. would LOVE a protest or an encampment but would also be willing to do the (honestly very boring) work of planning those things with comrades, of learning & creating political education, etc. she's one of my favorites bc she rly does believe in a better world, & she rly does believe that her place in that is actionable. in canon it gets fucked up in translation bc... it's a show abt supernatural catholic lore lol. but i think in our world there are lots of avas! ppl are being so brave rn! that's probably what i've been thinking abt most w her lately, as a comfort

She is so unbearably babyfaced here it always makes my chest want to cave in. Because her eyes are heavy and you can feel the exhaustion rolling off of her, and yet still she sits vigil so that Clarke can sleep. She's injured and she's just had to run for her life after thinking several times that it was her last moments, and she just... moved on from it. Kept going. Was steady and in control, because it didn't even faze her anymore. She's so achingly young that she still has the baby fat of adolescence rounding out her cheeks, and yet she's carried the yoke of leadership for so long already that to her it's just a given that she'd stay awake and watch over the other girl to keep her safe. Because everyone else's needs come first. That's just who Lexa is, and who Heda has to be. And she's still just a damn baby in the grand scheme of things. Destroys me every time

FANFICTION AUTHORS ARE HUMAN BEINGS. they have lives and jobs and school and things they struggle with. maybe they've even spoken publicly about their struggles in the hopes their readers would understand them a bit better because at the end of the day this is a community and they have every right to use this space however they fucking want to.

"don't start a fic you can't finish" - literally shut up. shut up! we are not paid to do this, i will start and not finish whatever the fuck i want.

and holy shit, anon. as if this message wasn't disgusting enough, please let me state plainly something you "desperately" need to hear: no robot can give you what a human writer can. and the fact that you even threatened to just go to AI at this point shows how little you care about storytellers and all they provide for you.
