But seeing all these people claiming she's the biggest Parkster shipper when I have 70,000 words of published Parkster fics???

Claimed & Collared used to be on Wattpad as well as AO3 but some douchebag commented only with an asterisks and a single word I had misspelled so I deleted it entirely out of annoyance. I know my fics have errors. I don't use a beta. But don't be an asshole and comment like that. If you want to let a person know they misspelled something or added an extra word, comment on the actual fic first. Tell them you enjoyed it or what scene stood out, then throw in the, "hey, you had this error here though" line. If you think the fic is good enough to be worth correcting, let the author know that. If it isn't good enough, then don't say anything at all. It's not worth the trouble and new authors could consider that shit frustrating. Fanfic writers are just people writing for a hobby, not all of them want constructive criticism.

My favorite comment I ever read about fanfic is to consider it like a plate of cookies. If somebody brings in cookies to work/school, you eat the damn cookie and say thank you. You don't tell your coworker/classmate, it had too much brown sugar. Or, it was okay but I prefer gingerbread. Or, you need to practice baking cookies more. Just consume your damn cookie and be happy.

Anyway, I've deleted dozens of fics over the years out of annoyance over shit like that. In this instance, I just happened to have a version on bother AO3 and Wattpad so it didn't get wiped out entirely.

He's obviously trying to look like a psychologist or something. However, I appreciate it as a more general "This is how an intellectual dresses" vibe. I have a history of trying to write intellectual Parker (White Noise, Stars Shining) so this fits well for me.

Slightly annoyed honestly, the new fic I'm working on starts with a dive into psychology a bit and now I feel like it's gonna look like I was trying to rip off this episode.

Pretty sure we've seen him in glasses somewhere before though.

Okay, the little Beauty and the Beast sign is cute.

I legit think that Caleb might have been Chester in a wig. He sounds like him, has a similar body shape, etc. They purposely blur his face when he turns to look at Parker in the next shot. Of course, that might just be to hide the horrible vomit effect but still, why do we never see his face? Usually they show their faces.

Everything about this scene. The way Parker's hair is weird and kinda styled like he was trying to avoid getting the gunk on him. The way his glasses are somehow spotless yet he still takes a moment to clean them. The way he thinks this is vomit but is just totally fine with it. Would you just stand there calmly if somebody just threw up on your face? Also, does this count as blackface?

Pretty certain she only invited them over because she wanted to bang Parker and you know what? Good for her. Go for it girl.

I appreciate the extra detail that this bed is the nicest, cleanest bed they've had on the show. They could have just made it generically gross like the other beds but no, they wanted to make sure we all saw how spotless Chester's bed was when he lied to Parker.

I love that this is the smallest bed yet but Parker sleeps like a legit vampire.

Pretty sure they just had Beetlejuice in their house.

All my LOL fics are on AO3, though I know it can be difficult to find the tags for the fandom.

I wish people would learn to tell the difference between YouTubers that are mostly themselves online and those who are playing characters. It used to be common for them to play characters back in the day. The Angry Video Game Nerd is one example. James Rolfe was never himself as the AVGN. He was a fictional character. It's why he's consistently referred to as "Nerd" in universe instead of James and why he doesn't know who Mike Matei is.

YouTube got lazy and people stopped creating distinct characters over time, just presenting a "public persona" of themselves, but Life of Luxury is different.

Here's the thing, the Luxury videos are fiction. They are not gaming channels or reaction channels. Nothing they show on their channels are real. Their reactions aren't real. Their personalities aren't real. Though the fact they decided to just use their real names is annoying. Still, they're far from the first guys to just leave their name as is when presenting fiction. It was common with older shows - think Lucille Ball, for example, or Bob Newhart.

How do you explain Life of Luxury Chester is a coward and Luxury Dark Chester is clueless? Or that Life of Luxury Parker is overly involved yet dedicated but Luxury Dark Parker is forever annoyed and done with it all?

Even these two versions are different characters. That's why I usually write either Life of Luxury versions of them or Luxury Dark versions of them. Sin & Sinners was a Luxury Dark fic, Claimed & Collared was a Life of Luxury fic.

When people ship Parkster, they're not necessarily shipping RPF. They might be, if they're writing about a couple of goofy YouTubers, but the vast majority I've seen treat the source material as real. They're writing the characters. If the demons are real in their fics, the characters are as fake as the demons, it's okay to write about them.

I've seen one people claim that they're queer baiting for views a few times. That's another fallacy. Are IRL Parkster boning? Well, maybe, who knows. But Life of Luxury Chester is definitely in love with Parker and that was a purposeful decision that they made. Even if nothing ever comes out of it, they're not tricking their audience or whatever, they're just playing out a fictional story that happens to include an unrequited love plotline played for laughs.

Now here's the thing: I actually am not against RPF. It's not something I actually enjoy or consume though I did in my early teen years. And to be honest, a lot of RPF is still about "characters" because most public personas for famous people are characters in their own right. But no matter the debate on the morality of RPF, I'm holding to the point that people shouldn't accuse anybody of shipping real people just because they like Parkster. There are so many layers of Parkster and very little of it is true RPF.
