Excited to see how warframe devs approach the status effects rework.

Anything that favours build diversity is a huge yes from me. In the current state of the game it's undeniable that the damage types are incredibly unbalanced, especially in higher levels. For a game that has literally hundreds of different mods and weapons, you'd think it would encourage player experimentation, but nah. All of us are forced to run the same weapons, mods and status combos if we want to finish the missions (and keep the hard-earned loot).

The thing is that not everyone has the time or resources to replicate the advanced builds posted online. Those are only available to the people who play 8 hours a day or have a lot of platinum to trade mods. That's fine, though, people who invest so much time or money in the game should be rewarded accordingly. I play 2 hours a day at most and do not spend money, so I expect my progress to be significantly slower.

I could farm the mods I'm missing in a certain build, but do I really want to spend those 2 hours every day replaying the same mission over and over just to have a chance to get a rare mod with a 3% probability in the drop table? I can do it 1 day, 5 days even, but more? It quickly becomes a chore

I’d rather use the hundreds of mods that we already have, test some combinations until I find something that’s fun and not just big numbers go brrr (big numbers are also fun, but they don’t bring the same enjoyment to me as, say, setting the enemies on fire or watching them get so confused that they end up hurting themselves like pokemon).

So yeah, I'm very excited for this rework. I hope it brings more diversity to the game.
