I think liz might actually sew/make her own clothes from time to time... like if the music carreer goes wrong, I can see her being pretty successful in alternative fashion

this also means that one day she might show up wearing a pink frilly dress just because she likes the contrast with her pale hair/complexion & raccoon eyeshadow
I just wanted to underline that liz isn't a metalhead or, rather, she does listen to metal and sings in a metal band but her aesthetic isn't based on metal but on everything that reminds her of horror movies/books, death, ghosts, and creepy stuff 😌🖤 thanks for coming to my ted talk

Survivors guilt had one hell of a learning curve. Any singular moment Eddie was left alone with his thoughts for too long he drifted back into the upside down. Sometimes it’s the attack: his mind conjuring vivid images and feelings of his skin being torn into and his airway being constricted. Other times he goes to the second he woke up in the upside down: Body riddled with demobat bites and head swimming from blood loss. But in true Eddie fashion instead of being happy he had survived that whole shit show he just felt hollow.
The feeling of Liz’s hand on his chest was unexpected, causing Eddie to flinch slightly before settling into her touch. The action sparking out a choked laugh, the timbre of his voice shaky and unsteady. ❝ You studying necromancy behind by back Liz? How exactly were you planning on killing a dead man? ❞ He appreciated the attempt at diverting his attention from his now severely intrusive thoughts. This wasn’t his first episode since coming back, but it was the first time somebody had caught him in the middle of one.
An unstable sigh fell from his lips, tilting his head ever so slightly to look at her.  ❝ Vecna got Chrissy and I didn’t do anything to try and help. I ran. I wasn’t about to let that little shit Henderson get hurt because of me. The whole thing was selfish. ❞ He paused, shaking his head again.  ❝ Just a dumb attempt at trying to prove I can actually do something for once. Be worth something, ya know? ❞  Eddie rested his forehead to hers, taking a steadying breath as he gathered his thoughts.  ❝ It might not seem like it but i’m happy too. It’s just going to take me some time to come to terms with everything   ❞
Tumblr media
« Can you imagine? A necromancer that actually owns a funeral home, it would be pretty practical. » Truth was that she’d never hated her family’s profession more than in the past few months. Seeing the bodies of people she knew being brought to her place to be prepared for burial… Liz had never been one of those people scared of death, but that had almost been too much for her stomach as well. The fact that Eddie could be the next person laying lifeless on one of the tables… The pure panic coming from that image alone had been almost too much to take. She’d felt the heart-wrecking pain of losing her friend — only to discover he was actually alive —, and that was an experience she wasn’t planning on repeating ever again. Not until they were both a hundred years old and wrinkly as fuck, at least.
Rubbing small circles on his chest in what was supposed to be a soothing and grounding gesture, Liz listened but didn’t agree with him at all. She knew none of those thoughts were rational, that guilt and PTSD had a way of twisting your mind, but nothing could’ve sounded more far from the truth. « Oh, yeah, you were so selfish for protecting Henderson, dude. Playing hero, how rude. » And it wasn’t like he could’ve done anything for Chrissy either. Not when she’d been the first kill, with none of them having a chance of anticipating or explaining what was happening to her. Even with ho much she loved horror on film and paper, Liz would’ve probably run too.
Forehead against his, Liz’s expression softened in a smile. « You were worth a lot before and you’re worth a lot now, regardless of what happened. Fuck, you’re my best friend, Eddie. Take all the time you need, maybe I can’t make it easier but I will be here. »

That wasn’t going to end well, Liz had lived through her fair share of fights and bullies to know the new girl’s reply was going to cost her some consequences coming from the basketball team. Assholes, there was really no other way of describing them. From their lack to braincells to the way they seemed to treat anyone that didn’t dress like fucking mannequins from the mall, she’d grown up with those people enough to know just how much they liked being on top of the school food chain — and just how much they hated anyone who tried to put that in discussion. Which, of course, had never stopped Liz or her friends from doing exactly that, fuck repercussions and dangers when it came to proving a point that HAD to be made. The new girl seemed to be of the exact same thought, which was why the moment Liz noticed her standing she was already walking towards Claire — freaks had to stick together, right? « Got your period again, Andy? » Tray with food still in her hands and dark makeup not hiding the sarcastic expression on her face, Liz stared at the guys in front of them. « Cause, man, you’re really acting like someone who got their panties in a twist. »

@coffindent liked for a starter !!
Tumblr media
the moment claire had set a food in hawkins , she wanted to get the hell out of here , as fast as possible , even if it meant to repeat senior year or even it meant to gain a bit more money by working in a shop she hated , because the colors were too bright and people were just rude , not that she could easily snap back , but she certainly didn’t want to lose the only money she’d gain with this and be able to get away. claire was sitting at the lunch table at school , minding her own business as she was eating slowly , not even really hungry , as she picked on her food , she could hear one of the basketball players throw a comment at hear , how she was a freak but she only could roll her eyes. „ well at least i don’t play with balls every single day. “ , she growled immediately back as she pushed herself up. „ got a problem , asshole ? “

munsonsmusings:
Tumblr media
If there was one thing Eddie did since barely escaping with his life, it was try to put up a strong front. Because maybe, just maybe, if he pretended he was fine it would become true. But the constant echo of Chrissy and Patrick dying in front of him coupled with the vivid memory of his own almost death made it’s home in the forefront of his mind.
There was ringing in Eddie’s ears louder than he had ever experienced before, including that time he was standing next to a speaker that got massive feedback. He couldn’t catch his breath and his pulse was in his throat. He could still feel the way the demobats tail wrapped around his neck and wrists.
He didn’t want anyone seeing him have a breakdown.
Eddie shook his head back and forth trying to get everything to just stop, but it wouldn’t. He made the mistake of looking up and catching Liz’s eyes, knowing she would see the pure terror reflected in his.  ❝ I don’t understand how I’m still alive Liz. I really shouldn’t be. ❞ the words were no more than a whisper.  ❝ I don’t deserve to be. ❞
Tumblr media
They’d all been through A LOT in an extremely short amount of time — from finding out about other dimensions and monsters that lived in them to seeing people die, trauma had, in one way or another, built spiderwebs inside their souls. But Eddie, oh, Liz was pretty sure he’d been through the most. HOW her best friend had managed to escape death was still beyond her comprehension — not even the powers that twisted and twirled into her chest seemed as amazing as the fact that he was still alive and breathing.
Liz wished she had a way of answering his questions, but she hadn’t. She’d been on the other side of the portal helping Mayfield and Sinclair fighting the other Creel, when everything had gone down. They’d lost so horribly, and that was only part of the pain that had got a hundred times worst when Dustin and the others had told her that Eddie had been lost behind. Only to have him reappear in Hawkins some time later, like a ghost escaping his grave, defeating death but at what price?
« You survived because you’re a fucking badass, Eds. And you know I would’ve killed you for leaving me without the best guitarist in town. » Trying to make him smile, cause sarcasm had always been her way of dealing with hard situations, her voice was still soft as she placed a hand on his chest, feeling his heart racing and rubbing small circles to try and calm that crazy rhythm. « And you almost died trying to buy us all a chance, I don’t know anyone that would deserve life more than you do. » Dustin had gone on and on about how heroic he’d been, and a part of Liz had been so selfish to wish Eddie had just kept running. The terror in his eyes… that was the true thing he did not deserve. « Is it really so important how you made it? I’m just happy you’re here. »

For being a place full of dead people, Liz’s house was rarely a QUIET PLACE. With clients walking in and out and her parents always working from home, the big mansion often had voices echoing through the walls and, when those weren’t there, music was her preferred way of filling the deafening silence. The fact that her parents’ bedroom was so far away from hers often gave Liz the chance to stay up until late and have no-one scold her for it, and having school the morning after often didn’t stop her from spending the night reading a horror book or study one of her tomes about the occult. There was something with the town being asleep outside that filled her with energy that inevitably dissipated with sunlight, the zombie-like attitude she had while walking the hallways of Hawkins High had probably nothing to do with the good mood that filled her the moment the mood was up in the sky. Too bad society always tried to stop her from living that vampire life.
With a spread of tarot cards in front of her and KISS playing as her soundtrack, Elizabeth was so into the future she was reading that she didn’t seem to predict the one thing that happened next. The door of her bedroom opening had her jolt, music covering the steps coming from the outside so that Eddie’s arrival came as an utter SURPRISE.
« JESUS CHRIST! What the fuck are you doing here? » And who the hell had just let him into the house at 2am? The curly-haired figure standing in the doorframe suddenly looked like a ghost coming out of the shadows filling the house. Just as pale, too. With a card still in hand, Liz blinked twice again in confusion. As if sensing her shock, the music had suddenly stopped playing. « Did you just break into my house, Munson? »
Tumblr media
@coffindent          :          through  liz’s  window.
Tumblr media
CLIMBING THROUGH HER WINDOW MIGHT HAVE BEEN ONE MISTAKE.  being his nosy and shit-eating self by trespassing further than anyone should be is an entire string of mistakes that he’s not going to live through once liz catches him.
to take into consideration, eddie munson is not snoopy. perhaps in happenstance to his surroundings. he’s been in the creel funeral home before, courtesy of elizabeth creel herself, but he’s never walked the eerie halls at night. [ never missed her window, either, because he’d been half-stoned when he had climbed up a tree to get to her. ]
nope, nope, he’s actually too stoned to realize that he’s way off because he’s not just missed her window but the entire second floor, leaving him amidst astringent scents and an ocean of empty caskets. his brows pucker in confusion and he gapes, too stunned to move.
“ huh.” eddie blinks slowly, weaving through caskets and even more caskets until he’s getting lost, again. is the door gone? was there a door to begin with?
it takes an exorbitant amount of attempts and what feels like the entire night until he finds his way out and up the stairs, traipsing carefully so as to not disturb anyone. [ he hits himself, though, by running into furniture and hitting his head in the dark. ]
Tumblr media
finding liz’s room is surprisingly easier than climbing through her window. it’s the soft rumbling of a voice and the occasional strumming of a guitar that leads the metalhead to her door - and into her room by barging in, his hair standing up in all directions. “ shit,” he pants. “ that was worse than poltergeist. ”

thinking about liz and the witch trial she probably had to go through in s4, with jason and his friends thinking she played a role in chrissy’s murder (cause she just looks like the type, you know, and she was friends with eddie), ALL WHILE seeing bodies of teens she knew being brought to her family’s funeral home in the craziest of states
thinking about her having no doubts about the fact that eddie didn’t do it, but still being deadly scared about the fact that the whole town is looking for her best friend (and she just trying to find him first)
thinking about liz becoming part of the gang thanks to her friendship with eddie, taking part in the investigation/trying to save the world only to find out that someone from her bloodline is doing the murders
thinking about liz’s powers becoming stronger and stronger (and something she can’t overlook anymore) the moment the murders started happening and the portals got opened in several places in hawkins (also thinking about how much stronger her powers got the moment she set foot in the upside down)
thinking about liz finding out that her best friends died or even seeing him die and the guilt that’s gonna come with not being able to save him
