It’s why all the ROs and mc have somewhat of an established relationship (with Cierra and her lil mysterious ways being the exception - although mc has met her several times).

Hello! Yes, they are triads, sorry I forgot to make that clear.

G and Niko met when Niko first joined, but they became close because of their relationships with mc. They became good friends and, before things got too hectic in their lives, they would go out together for meals. Niko was really sad when G and mc broke up, but he understood why and remained friends with G (with mc’s blessing).

Lee and Aija met a couple of weeks after Aija joined. Neither of them were watching where they were going and crashed into each other. Lee, who was extremely stressed over a new exhibition, snapped at poor Aija before storming off. Once Lee had the chance to calm down, xe came back with a coffee and a few pastries that xe’d found out they liked and apologised. Aija was really surprised, but it started a surprising friendship. Lee is rather protective of Aija.

Who are the big spoons and who are the little spoons out of the ROs?

Big spoon: G, Aija.

Little spoon: Lee.

Both: Niko, Cierra.

G likes holding mc in their arms and tucking them in close. They like knowing that mc is safe and warm and in their space.

Aija loves snuggling mc. If mc is smaller than Aija, they like feeling like they’re protecting them and if mc is taller than Aija, they like feeling like a lil backpack.

While xe would struggle to admit it, Lee loves to be held. Xe would like it even more if you traced patterns on xyr skin or played with xyr hair.

Niko depends. Sometimes he wants you in his arms so he can tangle himself up with you. Other times he wants to be in your arms so he can feel your heartbeat clearly against his back.

Cierra also depends, but she leans more towards little spoon. If mc wanted her to the big spoon, she’d wrap them up and keep them cocooned in her warmth, but usually she likes being a little spoon so she can feel taken care of.

As a Spanish speaker I'm curious as to what inspired the name 'Cierra' because in Spanish it stems from the verb 'cerrar' which is to close. So it's like naming someone' Close' as in 'Close the door' which in Spanish would be 'Cierra la puerta' . So I'm super curious as to how that came about. If it's not a spoiler is it a symbolic reference for the story?. Maybe it's been mentioned before but my tumblr doesn't let me scroll down for some reason :')). Honestly, I feel like of embarrassed now, but I didn’t know any of this, so there’s no real meaning to why I called her Cierra.

I just thought the name Cierra was very pretty which I felt suited her!

Two interludes were added.

Choose to wear a mask or a veil, and pick between many designs of masks for your Death to wear;

Second part of Chapter 2 is focused on world-building, lore, and Éoin's life as a mortician.

Secondly, a list of small things that I added:

Around 15k words were added to chapter one and 12k to chapter two. The demo now has a total of 100k words;

Now the choices that will unlock the madness and fury domain are labeled.

Added time and location to each memory jump to better situate the reader.

Make sure to check the show stats option! I'll be adding details about the characters and the world of Hylaria there with every update.

I always call them my babies/hatchlings/duckling/little shadows/pretty girls/etc. (and the ROs call them mc’s babies) while writing, but I have to keep reminding myself that some mc’s wouldn’t do that, so I have to have more neutral names as well.

To answer your question though, you can absolutely go crazy cat lady on your baby dinos. Get their picture printed on jumpers and totes and pillows.

-> Niko was a dinosaur kid and he still keeps up to date with all the facts and new research about the dinosaurs on the Island. He says it’s because if a kid asks him about a dinosaur that isn’t a raptor, he wants to be able to tell them everything possible.

-> Before he came to the Island, he had three rescue dogs. G’s dad wouldn’t let him bring them so he left them with his brother. Whenever he has leave to go back to Denmark, his pups are the first ones he goes to see.

-> Niko knows sign language.

-> His favourite colour is yellow and he always incorporates it into his outfits somehow.

-> Niko joined three years after mc and as soon as he met them, he decided that they were going to be his best friend.

-> He often brings drinks and food to mc while they work to make sure they get some sustenance. If possible, he’ll get them to a cafe or restaurant for a proper meal.

-> The Velociraptors (Zolzaya, Orghana, & Delbee) are his lil munchkins. They imprinted on him, so they’re quite happy to hang out with him and nap on him (even if he has to be careful of his fingers).

-> Niko and Aija are good friends and often hang out together in their down time.
