Chapter .22 Too Close To Home

After the events of the cyclops fight the band of adventurers would make their way to a guild to ensure the safety of their party and the supplies which was returned safely along with the animals however the situation was handled there was still the aftermath of what the cyclops did so the outpost would begin to rebuild now with the cyclops out of the picture

Aless: you know?? We should visit the elven kingdom sometime??

Yuka: eh?? You kidding we go back there Nova's father is gonna rip her throat out for even leaving?? Doesn't help he doesn't much like me due to convincing her mother to let her have some freedom I mean come on who wouldn't want this??

Munchkin: I-I would like to go there..?

Yuka: hm..? Well maybe I can have a spot for you little buddy

Yuka would run her hands through the fur on his head and with a bright smile he would give her a soft nod

Kratos: what's all this talk about the elven kingdom??

Yuka: these two idiots wanna go see it??

Munchkin: hey!!

Yuka: I'm only kidding dear

She smiled towards munchkin to see Nova come approaching with a large tray of food for the group and setting it on the table

Nova: I say we don't go home

Nova would give a laugh along with Yuka who spoke immediately after

Yuka: I think it would lead to a more positive outcome for the party's relations with other places??

Aless: so long as we don't go to Alexandrian we should be fine?? Well you three should be fine

Munchkin: isn't that the place with that mean queen??

Yuka: yes it is munchkin but don't worry she won't be involved in any of our adventures

Nova: well I could make an exception to going there..? So long as my dad isn't around

Kratos: what's wrong with him??

Nova: oh he despises humans with his whole soul

Aless: ah a racist??

Yuka: alright can you not say that around me you dumbass?? You know I work for the guy

She would smack Aless against the chest and begin to eat the meal before them in which they would spend about a whole hour just enjoying and drinking at the guild as time went on Yuka would soon make a suggestion

Yuka: how about this?? We take you three to the elven kingdom? And in return you can take us somewhere of human culture?? Hmmm??

Aless: I'd be down for that offer??

Nova: well..?

Nova would look towards Kratos would just have a sigh and scoffed at the idea

Kratos: sure.

Nova would smile and give Kratos a soft hug before jumping from her seat and retrieving her things as did the rest of the party and they'd make their way off to the elven kingdom however after the long trip on their mounts they would come to a stop to see the illusionary barrier for the elven kingdom was gone

Nova: oh no..?? Mom!?! Dad!?!

Nova would go rushing ahead of everyone as Yuka would go rushing behind trying to keep her from getting herself killed however upon entering the kingdom it was all in disaster, destruction, and more rushing their way up to the castle gates only to see the gates were blown off its walls and left laying within the castle's entrance as she rushed her way to the throne room she would find massacred guards, and warriors in the throne room however she was met with a rather gruesome sight every single guard, and royal protector was found murdered in very cruel ways all that remained was a simple magic crystal against the ground

Yuka: you can't run in like that!!! Are you-? Whoa..

The others would come rushing up behind Munchkin hiding behind the large fighter Kratos and Aless, Nova would waste no time to grip the crystal and crush it and out came a message just for the adventurers

Harvor: Too those who do not understand yet indeed I destroyed your home archer. And showed them all the power of what a real demon looks like. And now I hold your mother and father hostage. Should you want them to return you will head out to the Gnoll Waste where you can fight your parents and their lives intact tho that may not be for long after all you all understand how Unsafe the Gnoll Waste can really be.. should someone intervene with its ecosystem??

Kratos: this fucker is psychotic??

Nova would yell out in anger smashing the rest of the crystal against the ground where Yuka would grab onto her and force her down to her knees while Nova would simply break under Yuka's grasp

Kratos: hm.. we can get them back. I won't let that fucker get away with this..

Kratos would step towards them over the bloody and cruel scene walking up to them and kneeling in front of Nova who would latch onto kratos with a rather very tight hug

Void: ahhh.. the Gnoll Waste.. home..

Munchkin: home..? L-like you come from there??

Void: indeed young one maybe if we can find my bones I can help with this demon problem..

Chapter 21. A Crushing Weight

As the cyclops forced its fist down everyone would roll away from its attack staring up at the monster of a beast who roared out and started to rush them Aless immediately moving to the right side to attack its leg while Kratos moved to the right slashing towards the monster slashing straight into his lower leg which he would immediately react by swiping kratos to the side from behind him only to catch Aless on her slash by grabbing her and throwing her straight into kratos just then and there a ball of fire would smash into the cyclops head

Polymorus: stay out of this elf.

He would drag his arm across the wall sending chunks flying at Yuka who would spell a wind barrier to send them flying Nova immediately using her small and nimble frame to climb her way up the wall and fire a arrow for his eye which the cyclops swipes away immediately only for his heel to take a massive slash by kratos causing the large monster to stumble which he wasted no time stomping his way towards Nova only for Aless once again come slashing straight into his ankle throwing the monster off balance to nearly falling over before catching himself which kratos would attempt to follow up with a stab into his eye only to be smashed to the ground by his fist crushing kratos under the cyclops weight which he'd roar out and turn over to see Yuka charging a spell immediately following up with large ice blades sending them smashing into him

Polymorus: you are all pest.

He would slam his fist towards yuka which she would roll away firing off a spell of fire towards his eye which he would close and swing to the right full on back handing her across the whole cave making her smash against the cave while Nova would yank back the string of her bow nearly to a point of snapping the string

Nova: quadruplex offa!!!

She would release the arrow letting it fly off and split into four separate arrows sending them crashing into the cyclops making him roar out in pain he would then hike up his left fist and strike only to have his hand get cleaved through by Alesia's blade and she would rip down cutting his hand in two making him roar even louder and out of reaction he would sweep his hand down smashing Aless against a wall only for Kratos to drive his sword straight into the monsters hand and attempt to rip up only for the monster to grasp the blade and start flinging him around smashing kratos against the nearest wall then throwing him at full strength against the ground causing kratos to spit out a rather large amount of blood, all he could do was convulse through the pain on the ground Yuka would waste no time casting a much stronger spell to freeze over the arm of the monster which he would just smash into a wall to shatter the ice which immediately was followed up by a heavy arrow shot that would rip into the cyclops side making him roar once more but this time he would punch towards Nova smashing into her sending her flying towards a wall would a violent thud she would hit the cave wall making her nearly throw up from the sheer amount of pain that just coursed through her

Aless: damnit.. we can't keep this up.. kratos!! Kratos??

Kratos with a violent yell would would rush the monster smashing the sword straight into his shin and attempt to cut right through which the cyclops replied with a swift kick sending kratos smashing into the wall again making him spew up blood as he would remain against the wall bruised and staggered Yuka however would cast a spell of shadows causing three large arms come from the darkness below and rip the cyclops to the ground which he would shrug off with little to no effort whatsoever as then Aless would rush in jumping up and driving the sword into the cyclops back making him grunt out in pain before smashing his back against her, the sword and the wall smashing Aless under his weight causing her to fall unconscious, Nova again taking the chance she would pull back the string this time with more force

Nova: perforans offa!!!!!

After firing off the arrow it would rip straight through the cyclops gut like nothing leaving him with a decently sized wound in his stomach but he wouldn't go down now grabbing over to a crate of supplies he would through it full force at Nova which Yuka would rush over attempting for form a spell just to eat the crate to her chest making her go rolling against the ground in pain all the while kratos unable to move or speak could only listen until a voice echos into his head a voice he knew all too well the voice who raised him and saved him from the river that voice spoke out to him reminding him why he chose this path

Shugo: always remember you fight with no purpose you fight more dangerously yes. But fight with a purpose young kratos and you can almost always win. So long as you entrust yourself to give into those emotions of love and anger is where you truly can rise above any threat that comes your way.

Just then Kratos's eye would ignite with a bright red light as he would be seen stranding to his feet with a bellowing yell he would ignite in a reddish aura with lightening sparking off his body he had unleashed something within him he had dormant for so long what truly made him a dangerous human his demon cells now finally awaking

Polymorus: what is this?!!? Your heart had stopped beating!!!

Kratos with not even a word would rush the large monster wielding his enormous sword before jumping off of a pile of crates and bringing the sword down to stab into his eyes with the cyclops would bring his hand just for kratos to cut through the entire hand and rip straight down into the eye before pulling up and ripping the sword out of his torn eye causing the cyclops to roar out in pain making him fall to his knees and crawl around just then kratos's body would give out making him collapse with a new found pain that felt like his internal organs were tearing themselves apart just then they'd all hear two more loud voices as a pair of Cyclopes eyes were seen starring into the cavern which immediately Yuka would pull everyone towards her behind a large pile of crates

Heroto: Why are you screaming Polymorus!!

Kort: enough!! Why are you bleeding who hurt you!?

Polymorus: it was Nobody!!!! Nobody came into our home and did this to me!! Nobody did this to me!!

The two cyclops would snarl and yell out towards Polymorus

Kort: if Nobody hurt you then stay quite!!

Just then they'd leave Polymorus alone causing him to simply sit there in his knees and contemplate what the hell happened to him

Nova: we n-need to the supplies and leave..

Yuka: leave that to me.. 

Yuka would force a portal spell just above the supplies and animals and send it falling into it all which she would then open another portal to drag Kratos and Aless through the portal which the cyclops would look back towards them from his bleeding eye and smile evilly at the group as they left

Chapter 20. The Cyclops

Polymorus: Who...are...you..

Just then the group would come to a realization that what they were faced with now was clearly something unlike the rest of the things they've faced, they've never faced a Cyclops let alone see one

Kratos: hm. Hello. We're just travelers.. passing through.

Kratos would grip his blade tightly watching the cyclops with every inch of his soul readying to cut down such a being

Yuka: yeah we j-just looking around you have quite a lovely cave!!

Nova: y-yeah such a nice place..

He would then come walking closer to the group before sitting down looking at the small group of adventurers

Polymorus: you came here to steal didn't you.

Nova: n-no no!! Never we'd never steal from you!!

Yuka: yeah we're friendly right??

Kratos would just be seen standing his ground staring at the cyclops before him knowing the situation was dire and deadly but there was nothing stopping the cyclops from killing then here and now

Aless: where are the soldiers.

Polymorus: you mean the men who stole what is mine.

Kratos: none of this is yours. And you know it.

Polymorus would narrow his eyes towards kratos before standing to his full height and leaning down in front of him snarling

Polymorus: who are you to judge what is and isn't mine human.

Kratos wouldn't speak just stand his ground even more while the cyclops stares down at him it was clear the difference in both size and power between the two warriors before Yuka broke the silence

Yuk: what if we do a trade?? Huh?? We give you something in return of all this??

Polymorus: hm?? I'm listening.

Kratos would immediately turn his head to yuka in disbelief why would they negotiate with this monster but kratos knew if the fight broke out in here they'd be at a massive disadvantage

Aless: not sure that's a good idea..

Yuka: got any other options?

Yuka would begin to cast a spell making a barrel appear before the cyclops which he would slouch down and sniff whatever was in the barrel

Polymorus: what is this??

Yuka: this is coke a Demi-human exclusive drink trust me it'll taste far better then any flesh you've tasted

Kratos: yuka. This isn't a good idea.

Yuka: shut it.. if you wanna get out of here alive..

Nova: yeah and um.. Yuka show him the treats that one human made for mother years ago?

Yuka would chuckle nervously before preforming another spell to have a small tray appear before the cyclops a tray of brownies

Yuka: this is treats called brownies they are very sweet and filled with chocolate!

Polymorus: what is chocolate?

Aless: seriously no way this fat ass hasn't had chocolate before

Just then Nova would elbow her gut to keep her quiet while the cyclops slouched down a bit more picking the tray up and pouring the brownies all into his mouth which he would make a rather pleased face from the taste meanwhile kratos would drop his sword and look before kneeling down to pick it up

Aless: scared??

Kratos: shut it.

Just then the cyclops would snag the barrel right next to kratos which he would have a slight smirk under his helmet watching the cyclops drink the whole barrel down

Polymorus: ahhh.. what a tasteful drink!!

Kratos: hey. I have something for you big man

Polymorus would look over and slouch down to kratos seeing him pull out a sweet roll which Polymorus would tilt his head staring down at him confused

Kratos: this is a sweet roll. One of the finest desserts in all of the country

Polymorus would grab the roll with two fingers and toss it into his mouth making him have a rather happy look in his eyes

Polymorus: thank you kind stranger what is your name??

Kratos: my name?? My name... is Nobody..

Polymorus: ah! Well Nobody I thank you all for the gifts and I think I know how to reply to your trade

Yuka: oh that's great to hear sir!!

Polymorus: yes you Nobody will be bestowed the honor to be the final one here to die.

Aless: what..

Just then the cyclops would rise to his feet and swing his fist straight down into the group showing the raw power of a being such as powerful as him showing them that this kind act would be their last

Chapter 19. Polymorus

It had been about a month sense the previous events of our story the hero's had lost one of their close friends and now what will they do next kratos on a road of recovery but knowing that he had a job to do to protect his friends

Yuka: hey..? You awake??

Kratos: huh..? Oh yeah I am.. sorry just thinking is all

Yuka: well listen we got another quest to do.. that always helps cheer you up??

Kratos: maybe you're right..? It would be a better change of pace than from being in here..

Kratos would then stand to his feet as he would place on his armor on and come walking out to see Nova balled up near the fireplace as he came walking over and sat right up behind her leaning forward to speak

Kratos: hey there? You feeling alright??

Nova: mhm.. just miss her..

Kratos: so do I but we can't.. stay in here..

Kratos would smile as Nova would get to her feet with him and nodded retrieving her bow and walking out the door to Yuka and Aless who was waiting just outside for them

Aless: well.. took y'all long enough hah..

Kratos: forgive me just was thinking about a few things but I'm up for any challenge that comes our way

Nova: where's munchkin??

Yuka: he's staying here for this one.. he still.. is recovering from her death..

Suddenly everyone in the group became silent before kratos would be the one to break the silence

Kratos: well listen here we can't.. you know.. push ourselves down a dark hole.. we gotta see the light through right??

Yuka: hey?? You're right haha let's go for it eh???

Aless: alright gives us some fun to handle. So yuka what's the job!!

Yuka: well it seems their was a large beast sighted at a nearby outpost in the North of Sperios. They say that it is a armored beast sooo we will need some heavy hitters

She would look straight at kratos who just gave a soft laugh smirking

Kratos: hey!! It'll be worth it won't it?? Haha!

Nova: it'll allow me to test out a new spell I learned!

Aless: well it's settled then let's get going!!

The group would start their trail towards the outpost after what seemed about a hour they would approach the outpost to see it completely destroyed and only flames nothing more the supplies, animals, and even the soldiers were missing however there was no blood at least none that was noticed by anyone in the group

Kratos: what the hell??

Nova: th-that's creepy..?

Yuka would slam her staff into the ground as her eyes started to glow blue attempting to rewind the scene in her head meanwhile Aless would approach the flaming tents to see what looks like sheep wool on the ground only to see the trail lead off into the distance

Aless: hey.. everyone might wanna see this!!

Kratos and Nova would come walking over to see the wool Kratos eyeing the trail seeing its leading along the side of the whole kingdom which Nova would look back to Yuka would be seen exhaling softly

Yuka: seems.. whatever attack the outpost didn't kill anyone but took them all..

Kratos: how could one armored beast even have the capability to move a whole outpost worth of supplies, soldier, and the damn animals???

Nova: maybe the beast is magic??

Aless: really?? I don't think any magical based beast would allow them to steal a literal outpost

Nova: w-well we have a trail we can follow!! I'm sure it'll take us straight to where it is and we can find out what or who it is!!

Kratos: agreed I'll lead the way!!

Kratos would start to follow the trail of wool all the way alongside the kingdoms walls till they came across it leading towards the padana ruins which was a far more dangerous place to be heading however they had no choice but to follow the whole trail all the way through soon coming across a large cavern within the ruins kratos would exhale and draw his blade walking towards the entrance only to he stopped by Yuka who would fire off a candlelight spell into the entrance to light their path and in they went

Kratos: this place smells.

Aless: you can say that again

As they wandered deeper and deeper they'd come across a large open area that had a decent drop but at the bottom of it laid the animals from the outpost, and supplies along with plenty of other items such as, weapons, armor, food, even barrels of water and wine

Nova: what the..? It's like it's keeping everything??

Aless: A hoarder maybe??

Kratos: no I've seen a hoarder this is something different it seems whatever took all these supplies knew what they were doing?

Nova: that means what exactly..?

Kratos: we couldn't be hunting a beast.. no way this is to smart for any beast to even devise such a plan to take all this stuff

Yuka: wait.. isn't that??

A flag was seen within the piles of supplies from the nearby Kingdoms implying whatever took all these items was intentional fully aware they were stealing from a kingdom

Aless: no way.. who would be crazy enough to take all this stuff??

The group would walk towards the ledge which Yuka would look down and use the stones within the cavern to form a staircase down to the supplies for them which Kratos would be the first to step down sword drawn and shield up as he approached the supplies

Kratos: I don't get it.. why would anyone hoard all this supplies it's not like they'd need it, if it is a beast why would it take so much stuff let along go into such a highly populated area what would even be the plan for it

Nova: maybe it's just.. in need of supplies to survive the cold?? It is starting to get ready to snow??

Just then a red light would ignite the whole area as a large eyeball is seen in the darkness before themselves all the eyeball glowing with clear malice intention before it spoke out to the group of adventures with a bellowing loud, and dark tone

Polymorus: Who are you.....

Chapter 18. The First Loss

Kratos grunts in pain struggling to get to his feet, Harvor immediately lunging into him driving his knee into Kratos’s jaw a loud crack ringing out as he did so, grabbing onto Kratos, Harvor would slam him against the ground once, twice, three times before driving his heel into Kratos’s chest Kratos letting out a loud pained scream, then kicked aside into another rock, Harvor stomping his way over he would be hit with a blast of magic turning his head he could see Munchkin his eyes glowing bright purple

Munchkin: you thought this was over. Now you face Us!!!

Munchkin charges Harvor ramming into him so hard it even staggered Harvor how could this small of a fighter do any damage to Harvor, that’s when Munchkin would start bashing at Harvor with powerful punches launching himself into the air just to hit Harvor, Harvor grabbing into Munchkin’s leg he would slam him into the ground making a small crater under the child only for him to be punched across the helm by Kratos

Kratos: you think…you can…do that…??

Harvor: hm..I did boy. Now if you don’t mind. I have a elf to catch.

He started to walk towards Nova, Kratos immediately bashing his shoulder into Harvor knocking him down for the first time

Harvor: you little bastard..

Harvor would raise his hand as a surge of magic energy started to appear

Harvor: Kiln!!

Soon Kratos was surrounded by a barrage of dark magic coming crashing down into his body the armor staying sturdy against the attack however his body within the armor was taking far more blunt trauma than anything Harvor would sudden appear in front of him driving his fist into Kratos gut making him fall to his knees and spit out blood

Harvor: and they called you immortal.

Harvor grabs him by the back of the head yanking his hair pulling it back to face him

Harvor: let me tell you something boy. No-one is gonna save you. They will all die trying. No matter what.

Harvor laughs throwing him against the ground breaking Kratos nose before stomping on his back with a loud crack, Aless would charge at Harvor ramming her shield into him only to be grabbed by the throat and punched over and over before her face was a red bloody mess, throwing her into Kratos turning back to Nova

Kratos: now where were we??

Yuka: Congelo bestia!!

Harvor grunts as his entire body became incased in a ice block growling out he would shatter the ice immediately Yuka staggering back from the blast only for her to now be the next target grabbing her by the throat he smirked, lifting her into the air he planned on crushing her windpipe all while she kicked and thrashed around her attempts to escape would be useless Munchkin seeing this would get back to his feet running towards Harvor, he would immediately be kicked in the chest and stepped on Harvor nkw crushing his sternum, and Yuka’s neck they would easily overpowered by Harvor’s raw strength and over all power just then Yuna would yell out throwing her sword into the back of his leg forcing Harvor to fall to his knees

Harvor: argh!!! You little shit!!!

Ripping the sword out he would charge at her immediately kneeing her in the face making her stagger back with her own nose also broken

Harvor: runt.

He looks to Nova and growls as he broke to run and grab her only to be blindsided by Kratos once more, Kratos now on top of Harvor started to bash at his helm slamming Harvor around all in the moment his pure rage beating Harvor down to a bloody pulp even through the armor

Kratos: die!!! Fucking die you damned Monster!!!! DIE!!!

Harvor: Horrendum dolorem!!!

A bolt of lightening came from the sky strike down Kratos on the spot, along with harming Harvor himself due to then body wearing armor Harvor would stand up and smirk evilly as he started to laugh

Harvor: don’t you see!!! you can’t stop me!!! NONE OF YOU CAN!!!

Harvor continued to laugh as he walked over to Nova lifting her up by her hair

Harvor: the demon lords will love to see you princess..

Harvor smirked only to be blasted away through a rock by Yuka who was back on her feet using her staff to keep herself up

Yuka: talon..forgive me..for I am failing my mission here…

Harvor would growled ripping the rock apart just to get out

Harvor: ELF!!! What makes you think you can do this. And get away!?!

Yuka: because I’m can fuxking rival the powers of the royals.

she slams her staff into the ground yelling out

Yuka: Ego te Talon!!!

A bright light filled the sky as a beam would strike down behind Yuka as a large suit of armor appears holding a blade before the armor having a bright green glow to it

Yuka: meet Talon. Goddess of the elves. And my primal beast!!

Harvor smirks staring at the primal laughing

Harvor: she can only stay here for so long. Do you really think you’ll have enough time???

Yuka: yes!!!

Yuka would hover up into the air making a magic circle as blade started to appear from around it Talon hovering up behind her raising its blade to strike over for Yuka to grunt out spewing blood for her mouth the spell immediately disappearing along with Talon what they all saw as a black tendril rip rig into through Yuka’s chest causing her to fall to the ground

Harvor: as I said. I cannot be stopped.

Yuna seeing this would scream out grabbing into her sword immediately charging at Harvor using her small body to dash around and slash all parts of his armor Harvor blocking what he could

Harvor: I’ve had enough!!!

Harvor would swing his hand out causing the ground to shatter forcing Yuna to launch into the air throwing her sword right at Harvor’s skull

Yuna: die!!!

Harvor grunts grabbing into the sword tossing it back as it ripped right through Yuna’s armor piercing through her chest she would fall back against the ground spitting and coughing out blood Yuka unable to move herself

Kratos: Yuna…?

Kratos growled and yelled out immediately lunging at Harvor hitting him so hard that the helm shatters on one side forcing Harvor to stagger back Kratos then grabbing into his broken sword slashing at Harvor’s body

Kratos: YOU WILL PAY!!!

Harvor taking so much damage he fell back, Kratos jumps into the air ready to stabbing Harvor only for a portal to open under him making him fall through Kratos yells out throwing the sword against the ground

Kratos: n-no..Yuna..

He ran over to Yuna seeing her lifeless eyes as she laid there choking on her blood

Kratos: come on get up Yuka!!! Damn You get the fuck up!!!

Yuna: papa…I..see..a..bright light…

Kratos: shh shh..it’s ok.. Aless!!! Someone!!!

Yuna: papa…I-I’m scared..I don’t wanna go to sleep…Papa….please…I don’t wanna go to sleep…Please papa…don’t make me go to sleep…

Kratos: your not sleeping…you’ll stay awake I promise….you’ll be fine…

Everyone was either beaten down or knocked out all Kratos could do was hold Yuna in his arms

Yuna: p-papa….please…..I can’t…go….in the dark again…p-please…

Kratos hugged her tightly his own body shaking in fear

Kratos: shhh…shhh…you’ll be fine…I promise…Yuna…you’ll be ok…just talk to me..

Yuna soon grew silent as the forest was filled with the sounds of the wind

Kratos: Yuna…talk to me honey…what do you see…Yuna…please….Yuna!!!!

Yuna’s body laid their lifeless, and helpless to save his own daughter Kratos finally broke screaming out in tears as he held his daughter knowing he failed not only as a friend, but as a father

Chapter 17. A Demon General’s Wrath

Harvor smirked under his mask looking at Munchkin ready to slaughter the young Imp if he had to before taking a different fighting stance waiting

Munchkin: I-I...I...

Havor: pathetic.

A beam of pure energy slashes the hill he was on sending him rolling down towards Harvor the moment he was close enough Harvor would bring his foot down stomping onto Munchkins stomach Munchkin coughing out a mixture of blood and spit Havor then kicks him aside into a nearby tree the pain was shooting through his small body this fight was one sided regardless of how hard he tries

Harvor: hmph...You mortals are so fragile...and frail..

He would rase his foot before a spell flys right into the side of his face shattering the helm he wore

She growls softly before twisting her wrist firing a barrage of spells all of different elements Harvor scoffs as each spell would be sent a different direction using his bare hands against the spells as if they were a baseball

The whistle of a arrow is heard sent flying at him from his blind spot which he immediately caught the arrow before snapping it in his hands

Yuna grunts standing up shaking her body before charging Harvor which he once again scoffed using his gauntlet to block her before driving his other fist into her chest knocking the wind out of her making her stagger to her knees

Yuna falls onto all fours trying to get the air to fill her lungs again Yuka huffed and slams her staff into the ground vines then shoot up from it striking at Harvor which he then sighs sending a huge burst of flaming energy around his body burning them all immediately

Suddenly Kratos came running up punching Harvor in the chest staggering him back grunting from the sudden attack

A tendril of black shadows appears pulling Nova from the afar tree before slamming her to the ground and tossing her along side Kratos and Yuka

He smirks as Aless jumps at him grabbing onto her blade with his hands before crushing the blade shattering it apart

Driving his heel into her abdomen he stood there waiting the moment Aless got up Kratos and her charged at him along with Nova and Yuka using their longer ranged attacks from the distance Harvor blocking every attack thrown at him with great speed and strength knocking aside Aless he grabs onto her leg throwing her into Kratos sending then both crashing into a tree Nova jumping off the ground she would launched over him when he grabbed onto her ankle and slammed her to the ground with a violent thud

Harvor: more!!! Come on!! Fight me more!!!! hahaha!!!

Yuka raises both her hands firing another barrage of spells

Harvor: again??

Yuka: Holy Light!!!

A bright light filled the forest blinding Harvor completely that's when Kratos came crashing into him with his shield fully guarding his body until Harvor grabbed onto the shield and tossed him aside then snapping the shield in two against his knee

Harvor Is that all you got mortals!?!

Nova dropped from behind him before lifting the bow over his head and around his neck trying to strangle him until he stomps onto her foot and grabs onto her hair launching her over him crashing against the ground in front of him which he then used her own bow against her starting to strangle her, her arms reaching back trying with all her strength to overturn the struggle until she felt the bow start to crack her strength fading she grabbed ahold of his shattered helm before he slammed it down against the back of her making her cough out thats when he slams it down against her neck again until a loud crack is heard the bow had snapped in two and Nova came falling to the ground looking lifeless Kratos slowly stood to his feet spitting out blood turning to see Nova against the ground

Kratos: Nova...

He growled looking at Harvor and slammed the bow against the ground turning away from Nova, Yuna came running up stabbing right through the back of his knee making Harvor grunt out in pain he then grabbed onto her hair slamming her to the ground with it Yuna now had become unconscious from the violent attack Kratos yelled out in anger his eyes turning red with the shine of his anger finally rising

Yuka: Talon..please forgive me.. Hades!!! Bring forth your Wrath and banish my enemies with this attack!!! Scorching Earth!!!

She slammed her staff into the ground shattering the ground around them all the cracks flooding with lava making the playing field more to their side

Munchkin: I..can't..fight...

Munchkin fell to his knees starting to cry from all the danger around him that's when that same voice was heard

The beating sun shines down on Munchkin he sat alone in the elven forest by many dangers the only thing he would do was watch the campfire scared to even walk around this forest but it was his mission he had to get swim thing for Yuka

Chapter 15. It’s a Date Then~!

After breakfast Nova and kratos had agreed to go get their armor repaired which would benefit them greatly after all they got beaten pretty bad

Chapter 14. Reawakened

After what seemed to be days of the bloody battle it was only a matter of time when suddenly Kratos jolted awake in a bed..? He would look around unaware of where the hell he was

He looked down at his body the deep scars seemingly healed from the battle he would then turn his head to see Nova sleeping right next to him, she was barely clothed but that wasn't the problem it seemed her own scaring had healed as well she was holding his arm tightly until Kratos moved away to break her home making her shiver he then covers her up with the blanket and sat up in the side of the bed

Yuka: well..? How was it..??

Kratos looked over to see Nova's best friend Yuka who seemingly was less clothed then normal but in a robe

Kratos: how was what...?

Yuka: sharing a bed with two of the royal elves??

Kratos: fine...I guess...

Yuka walks over and sat next to Kratos placing her hand against his wounds

Kratos: you brought me back with the spell of resurrection..???

Chapter 13. Larger than a Troll-Part 2

Kratos slowly and finally got to his feet the blood covered warrior standing as he limps his way to the ogre

Foron: well now the human is standing up again? This should be interesting.

Upon this Kratos woukd weakly swing his sword at the Ogre only for him to be throw aside by the ogre who would then pick up Nova admiring her

Foron: such a beautiful form~ so easy to get around great endurance~

The ogre would then lick Nova's face in front of Kratos taunting him showing that he was no matter if the second wind helped he wasn't strong enough to kill this thing

Foron: I wonder what the other elf is like~

Munchkin hearing this be woukd stand up only to fall to his knees again the fear overcoming all his actions tears falling down his face while the still awake Yuka was ripped away from the imps around her as she trashed and swings around at the ogre

Foron: we got a fighter! I can change that!! Haha~!!

Suddenly the ogre bites into Yuka's side ripping out a part of flesh sending Yuka into a loud panicked scream that filled the entire temple Munchkin and Kratos seemingly powerless until that same voice was heard

Voidless: seems your in trouble...

Voidless: say the word...and I'll help out as much as I can...

The black mass grins before grabbing onto munchkins head before what seemed to be draining power from the young furry the mass immediately slashed into the ogres leg sending him down to take a knee the cut was pretty deep and was healing much slower now

Foron: argh!!! Who did that!!

He threw yuka down on the ground making her spit out blood on the impact as she sits up starting to heal her arm all the while that black mass slashing at the ogre all over before it suddenly swings its club hitting the black mass blindly and hitting the black mass sent munchkin flying as far as the mass was hit the young furry now having a few broken bones from the powerful hit

Yuka: munchkin!!!!

She would stand up and the blood from her side flushed out immediately as she limps over to him falling right in front of him as she rushed up to his side healing the young one

Yuka: come on..come on...don't you dare fucking die on me....understand that stay awake!!

Kratos would again start to get up more blood pouring out of his helmet and shattered armor limping his way to the ogre

Foron: your still alive!?! Just die!!!

He swings the club downward into Kratos smashing him under the club he lifted the club laughing at Kratos only to see him getting up once again

Foron: what the hell are you made off!!! If that won't kill you!! This will!!!!

He held his hand up as a ball of fire started to appear in it growing bigger and bigger by the second

Foron: Tenebrae ad lucem Utinam inimici mei vivam ardeant... FABULA!!!!

A large ball of fire comes flying down at Kratos when suddenly aless jumps in front of him using pulling her shield up the ball of fire coming to impact with her shield the ball of fire extinguished but aless now now burnt and beaten as she fell to the ground breathing heavily holding her ground only for her to be kicked away by the ogre Kratos again was back on his feet nearly even standing all the way up

Foron: just die!!!!

The club comes smashing down in Kratos but the smoke cleared to show that Kratos was standing beside the club he dodged the attack and now Kratos was standing his eye glowing red as he jumps onto the club running up it then slashing up into the ogres face staggering the ogre back a bit from the sudden attack when Kratos bloody and beaten stood there as if the pain was nothing the ogre growled and started to swing Kratos parried it's attack sending the other staggering as he ran up jumping into the air driving the blade into the ogres chest then being throwing to the ground by the ogre Kratos immediately getting back to his feet unstoppable by this pain he kept charging the ogre doing all he could with each attack before he was whacked into the ledge his back nearly snapping in two

Munchkin: hey ugly!!!

The ogre spun around when suddenly munchkins sword went flying into the ogres same eye that Nova shot making him roar in pain

Foron: how dare you!!! You little shit!!!

Munchkin started to run along the wall using his small body and momentum to get around the ogre keeping him busy

Yuka: Ut Talos hos heroas mea divina lux

Suddenly their and then Kratos would come flying from the ledge driving the sword into the ogres face knocking it to the ground Kratos watched as yuka was preforming the spell

Yuka: intra lucem ut Talos fulgeat Naturalis Virtus!!!

She slams her staff into the ground as vines appeared around the ogre holding him down to the best of their strength the ogre tho was very easily ripping them appear until Kratos woukd disarm the ogre quite literally but cutting off his right arm from the elbow down the ogre letting out a roar started to tell its own spells

Foron: Serva me tuis tenebris flammis Barondorus!!!!

Suddenly flames of black appeared around the vines burning them which seemingly also was effecting Yuka's staff she was forced to pull the spell back

Kratos: get...Nova.....

Yuka nodded and ran to her friends side while Muuchkin would pull out one of the Imps weapons throwing it at the ogre

Foron: all of you are just bugs!!! You can't kill me!!!

Kratos growls before he lets out a battle cry using his sword to stab into the ogres leg before slashing it to the point of the leg falling off making the ogre fall down Kratos now walking into the ogres body he lifted his blade up

Foron: what the hell are you!!!

Kratos: ....I...am...Immortal...

With that final word he drives the blade into the ogres face before ripping it upward cutting the ogres face open he then turned to the imps his eye still glowing

Kratos: who's. Next.

They all broke off and ran from Kratos scared of this monster whatever it was Kratos started to follow only for him to cough up blood and nearly collapse but Yuka ran to his side helping him stand

Yuka: ...that was fucking insane...you idiot...

Kratos: is..nova...ok...?

Yuka: she's breathing...

Yuka would start to carry Kratos to the rest of them Aless sitting up against a wall while munchkin was rushing through us back to find any potions to help Kratos would kneel down next to Nova, she slowly woke up

Suddenly Kratos would cough again more blood spilling out before he collapsed to the ground next to Nova

Chapter 12. Larger than a troll-part 1

Upon Yuna's leave it was now time for them to push deeper into the temple looking over at the pathway Munchkin already let his fear set in after seeing the those damn things did to women it made him even more sick now knowing the truth about it

Kratos: come on kid..don't slow us down..

Yuka: be nice. He just saw some very disturbing shit.

Yuka's voice was annoyed clearly because what she saw did not only make her regret leaving her home but also enraged her to a point of no return she will do whatever she can to ensure these little freaks die in the worst ways possible coming upon the entrance Aless stops everyone

Aless: they seem to be sleeping at this time. Meaning we attack now we can pick them off in their sleep..

Nova: you know a damn lot about these things..?

Aless: I have a friend who's taught me..

Yuka: you mean that monster hunter you fucked

Aless: why are you still pissed about that.

Yuka: I'm not.

Yuka rolls her eyes before entering the camp site everyone just looked at Aless confused but continued forward through coming to a ledge of the temple on the bottom of it was the horde of sleeping imps it was time to strike each one slid down the ledge one at a time, Yuka and Nova stayed back watching as Aless, Kratos and Munchkin started to kill each one with a single stab moving to the next one, Nova however saw something moving and fired her o arrow into the Imp that was awake it let out a pained shout before dying and then of course the rest started to awaken from the scream immediately taking action one jumped at munchkin only for kratos to bash its head open mid-air with his shield

Kratos: get ready for a fight!!

Upon this they all had to fight now the Imps rising up charging each one of them Aless was cutting a few down before a arrow comes flying into her knee making her grunt from the sudden pain and dropping down these Imps were using arrows. Impossible Nova thought, Imps aren't smart demons yes but they sure as hell could never use a bow

Nova: Stay clear of the pillars!!

Nova would start to along side the walls firing arrow after arrow killing as meany as she could Yuka laughed and slams her staff into the ground as vines with thrones came up wrapping around as many imps as they could before crushing them alive

Yuka: now that's how you kill a horde~

Aless was brought back to her feet by Kratos who rushed her to Yuka munchkin however had his own problem with imps using daggers would come charging the small furred fighter where he rather quickly moved around them slashing into their chest one at a time the last one however he was forced to throw his sword into its head running to it he rips the sword out then a loud booming thud is heard from the doorways

Kratos: what..

Yuka: everyone get back!!

Yuka lifts her staff up as a large wall of pure light appears blocking the doorway but the wall was suddenly shattered by a huge bolt of lightening sending her flying into the nearby wall

Nova: yuka!!

Sliding over to her Nova would lift Yuka to her feet but the worse was yet to come when another booming thud is heard and they see a large foot slam out the doorway

Kratos: a troll!?!

Aless: no...a ogre...

The large enemy steps form the darkness a ogre with red skin stands before the party about 18 feet tall maybe bigger then the ogre spoke it's loud and dark voice filling the room

???: no wonder. I was questioning by I heard all this noise. But it seems the great Kratos is here as he said you would haha!!

Kratos: he..?

Munchkin fell back his own fears starting to return to him as the ogre looked down at everyone with his evil grin

???: well. If I must kill you. Then you will know my name. I am Foron.

Kratos: I don't think I've ever heard of you..?

Foron: what!?! How dare you disrespect me!!

Kratos: no really who is this guy..??

Aless: kinda..pushing it Kratos...

The ogre growls and steps closer pulling how his oversized war club

Foron: seems your little elf's spells don't work on me.

Nova: indeed but we can still hurt you!!!

He laughs and slams the club between the group within the smoke Aless jumped up slashing at the ogre only for her attack to be blocked immediately by his club only for her to be launched back into Yuka sending them both into the wall Kratos would dive between his legs and slams into him the deep wound bleeding until it was suddenly healed which then he swings the club at kratos who put up his shield blocking the attack however the impact of the club was so hard not only did kratos get sent flying the shield shattered immediately

Nova: damnit!!!

Nova would fire arrows at the large Ogre running along the edge of the temple before the warclub was slammed into the ledge sending her falling to the ground tho she was light on her feet and landed the fall running along the ground firing arrows until one goes straight into its eye

Foron: you little fly!!!

He would swing smacking nova right in the chest sending her into a pillar crushing it on impact Nova laid unconscious and her bones almost all shattered this enraged Kratos even more as he charged the large threat slashing it over and over only for the warclub to come swinging upward slamming into Kratos and sending the strong warrior into the ceiling then crashing down into a ledge, Kratos coughing up blood more than ever before his armor now shattered and him in too much pain to even stand

Munchkin: I..I....

The ogre steps to munchkin peering down at the small warrior only to see a pool of liquid appear under munchkins

Foron: haha!! The child pissed himself!!! Hahaha!!!!

The ogre laughed before swinging the club down to munchkin and he was suddenly yanked away by a whip of magic Yuka standing to her feet she would hold her staff tight

Yuka: Lapis verberare!!!!!!

Suddenly large stone boulders start flying at the ogre knocking him back a bit only for Yuka to be whacked aside by the club sending her flying into another wall she would be fine but that would be true if more imps weren't flooding in holding down Yuka started to pull and drag her away Aless still in pain but unable to move, Munchkin in pure fear to react and Nova unconscious Krato sat there bleeding out only to hear the sounds of the ogres voice

Foron: fear not Kratos for upon your death I'll let the women live as long as they can!! As my playthings!!!

Kratos hearing the ogre laugh he coughed up more blood before speaking

He then suddenly started to move again slowly getting to his feet bleeding more and more, his eye glowing red as he stares at the ogre who was seemingly grabbing nova's body

Chapter 11. Down We Go

The roll of a dice they say. Before our story continues let me tell you another tale of a group of hero's who saved the world.

{Many years ago}

The small group of four A holy warden, A elven paladin, a elven priestess and finally one of the rare Zerk beast a man crossed with beast. Tho many did not speak of the warden's name it was a sign of disrespect to But the others names were, Anima the elven paladin, Evaona the priestess and finally Yujiro The Zerk. These four hero's would be put against the strongest foe yet. The Great Demon Lord.

Evaona: damnit!! Yujiro cover Anima!!

Yujiro: on it. 

Yujiro charged into one of the many demons attacking the paladin helping her to her feet once more until suddenly he was punched hard enough to send a normal man flying but Yujiro was more than just staggered standing across from him was one of the demon generals. Harvor.

Harvor: you see Yujiro it doesn't matter how much you cut, slash or when bash me. I cannot defeat me. I am immortal!!

Yujiro: no man is immortal. Here allow me to show you!!!

Yujiro charging Harvor their battle began meanwhile the warden's fight was getting out of hand he was being overran by man demons until the ground around him launched up and crushed all the demons

Warden: thank you.

Evaona: any time. But we need to get to that crystal!!

Warden: leave it to me.

The warden steps among the bridge seeing the demons charge hun he held out a cross chanting a spell

Warden: Noctem obscurissimam et mitissimam Diem mihi tribue, Fortitudo magna o magna!!! Sancta lux!!!!

A bright light filled the demon lords castle blinding all the demons within then he would slash through the group in front of him, in a single strike!! This was a brutal battle for the world but it would pay off indeed but that battle wasn't won meanwhile back to Yujiro's fight he was launched into Evaona Harvor was strong and could easily overpower them.

Evaona: argh....ready for that special move I taught you??

Yujiro: now? Wow aren't you thirsty??

Evaona: the other move!!!

She blinds Harvor with holy light before a platform appears in the air and Yujiro jumps off it bringing the battle axe down into Harvor's chest making the demon general fall to the ground the pain shocked him it was impossible he thought...

Harvor: you..cant..kill..me...

Harvor let's out a yell jumping up only for him to be stabbed in the back of the throat by Anima before kicking Harvor down pushing the axe even deeper

Anima: and stay down. Demon.

Suddenly the warden is thrown into a wall his armor shattering on impact as a man in a rather fancy suit comes walking down the stairs it was him the demon lord

Demon Lord: well...shall we get this over with.

Yujiro charged the demon lord as he did the Demon grips his battle axe throwing Yujiro into the warden The paladin ran to them casting her healing spell then Evaona stood there before a ice sickle stabs into the back of the demon lord

Demon Lord: bold strategy. But I can't feel pain.

They would all see a pair of hands made of bones slammed into the ground next to Evaona making her roll away when the Paladin slams her shield into the ground chanting

Anima: Dea Talos!!! Vincula fati!!!!

Suddenly Chains started to wrap around the demon lord holding him down when suddenly the demon lord saw the wardens cross its glow getting Hm brighter as suddenly the cross was sending flames of white at the demon lord the demon lord burning from the sudden attack walking closer to him before raising his hand with the cross

Warden: Ad infernum daemonium!!!!!!

The warden drives the sharp end of the cross into the demon lord watching as the great demon starts to burn to ash that was the story of how the demon lord fell.

{present time}

Kratos: oi!!! You coming or what!!

Yuka: we are right behind you!!

Yuka had finally taken them to the sand temple she had found walking inside with the group it was quite but felt off for some reason..

Munchkin: are you sure it's s-safe..?

Yuka: nope!! But it's our best option..

Aless: this is crazy. Even for me.

Nova: we are unaware what might be in here..??

Yuna: it'll be fine right papa!!!

Kratos: that right kid..

They kept walking until Yuna held her hand up

Kratos: what is it kid..?

Yuna: traps.....

Aless: how did yo-

Yuna: I am tiny. And two. Me and munchkins kind are great with that type of stuff I only noticed it due to the damaged walls..

Yuka: that's impressive kid...

Kratos: wow...I didn't...know you knew all this..

By the looks of it..their camp is to the left of the temple...but they go to the left constantly...

With this Aless immediately went to the left

Yuna: hey! There are traps idiot!!

They follow after her to enter a room with women chained to pillars and the wall all elves Yuka would enter seeing the markings on these women and gaging before vomiting into her hand

Yuka: what the fuck is this place...

Aless: the imps breeding grounds.

Aless would start to cut the chains off the women letting them fall to the ground Yuka coughs about to vomit again but Nova pats her back

Nova: calm down...yes I know...but we can't just let that slow us...

Kratos: this is disgusting...

Munchkin himself was outside the room letting out his own vomit Yuna staying next to him claiming him down

Kratos: we gotta find those little bastards and slaughter them.

After a while they would help the women calming each other

Yuka: I could use a portal spell but that would take a lot of energy...

Aless: well they can't stay here..

Yuka sighed and started to use her staff to make a portal in the wall

Kratos: Yuna..your going with them..give them this note and make your way to the camp we will meet you there..

Yuna: what about the traps!!

Kratos: we have munchkin.

Munchkin: me..??

Yuna sighed and looks at them all

Yuna: Fine...just make sure to kill every last of these things

Kratos: that's a promise.

Chapter 10. A Trip to the City

It has been awhile sense Munchkin and Yuka left for the kingdom knowingly Kratos was still being tended to by Nova while Aless and Yuna went off hunting for food leaving the two alone for buying ingredients

Munchkin: Mr. fluffakins can't go on forever!! How close are weeee

Yuka: we are almost there now will you stop asking dear..??

Munchkin: I've asked once!!

Yuka: you said that the last five times

Munchkin: oh..sorry hehe...

Munchkin could feel that evil being following them as if it will never leave his side tormenting him in the back of his mind

Munchkin: about time!!

They would pull into the kingdom as Yuka dismounts and ties her warhorse to the post by the gates, before finally making her way inside walking with Munchkin at her side

Yuka: alright I have just enough for the ingredients anddd

Yuka: a enough for you to get a few things but don't go overboard ok kiddo??

Munchkin: I- yes ma'am...

She smiled and watches munchkin run off before walking into the brewers shop exhaling immediately people started to speak on her making very rude and sexual remarks to her after all she is a elf..why wouldn't they right??

Knight: oi pretty lady why not come over here and take a seat in my lap~

Yuka rolls hers eyes grunting from disgust she hated how people reacted when they saw a elf like her smaller and more well "easy" looking, she would

Make her way to the counter and look at the man behind it

Brewer: hm..what do you need elf??

Yuka sighed and pulls out a list of items handing it to him

Yuka: at least two of each..I would enjoy if you could try and hurry..

Brewer: understandable..I'll go check the back

Yuka would sigh and lean against a pillar waiting for him only for one of the men to pin her against the pillar

Sliver knight: exactly you shouldn't be in this area elves tend to get taken around here and no one really cares to try and help them..?? I do-

Yuka: and it seems humans die a lot around here. So let's not push this

The knight laughs at her before locking eyes with her

Sliver knight: you think your funny or something???

She mocks him and his pointless attempts to make a move on her

Sliver knight: shame your all alone in this shop?? No one to really stop me~?

Silence overcame the shop as she stares at him with a murderous glare hating humans like this who act all high and mighty only to be brought down almost instantly

Yuka: all you humans are the same cocky and greedy??

Sliver: excuse me!?! Who the whole do you think you are!?!

Yuka: I'm just a traveler?? Who's fighting for her own causes??

The knight growls and went to draw his blade only to find it was missing Yuka then giggled holding it up

Yuka: looking for this??

She smiled and snaps her fingers watching the sword melt into nothing the knight growling at and starts to raise his hand to punch her only for a arm to stop him

Aless: you should be more kind to the princesses helpers.

Knight: princess aless!?! I-I'm sorry I didn't ev-

Aless: don't worry about what I'm gonna do~

Yuka looked at aless confused why she was here but smiled relived that it was over with Yuka turns to the brewer and smiled at him paying for the ingredients she would walk out with aless and smile at her only to see munchkin hasn't returned to the gates she sighs and wanders the city looking for him wondering were he could have ended up and sure enough he was found hiding in the graveyard..

Yuka: come on kid..we should go..unless you didn't buy anything..

Munchkin: I did..but them..

Yuka turns to a group of men and sighs grabing munchkin and lifting him up into her chest pulling his face close to her chest

Munchkin: h-hey! Let meh go!!

Yuka: you shouldn't be so worried about everything..I'm not gonna let anything hurt you kid..

Munchkin blushes and got quite immediately not speaking on the subject just laying against her chest soon enough they would return to the gates and she would set him down

Yuka: we should head back now..don't wanna be out here when it's too dark..best to be by a open flame...

She mounts up along with Munchkin making their way back the trip back felt much longer than they thought

Yuka: is it just me or is it really hot out..??

Munchkin: yes...and it's pretty dark out as well...

Yuka would stay close to munchkin only to see them ride pass a temple she would stop to stare at it seeing tracks leading inside tracks of a demon Imp multiple pairs of tracks

Yuka: just as I thought..a horde is nearby the camp...

Munchkin: hey you coming!!!

Yuka: yeah on my way!!

She felt very uneasy seeing those tracks knowing for a fact that meant something real bad could happen if the horde wanted to attack them and they could easily be outnumbered

Yuka: we are gonna have to take that temple down..and those within..

Munchkin: that would be impossible if you do think that a horde is nearby then they most likely have that place trapped

Voidless: indeed...good thinking host...

Yuka: yes your right..but that would mean that something else would be leading them...after all..Imps are not that smart unless someone were to teach them that..much like goblins and gremlins tho gremlins are great workers for machines and such..

Voidless: I like this girl? Who is she huh? Your friend? Lover? Ooooo plaything!?!

Munchkin looked away from Void avoiding all it was saying to him

They would soon pull up to the camp Yuka immediately working on potions for Kratos, meanwhile inside his tent Nova was sleeping up against the tent she hadn't left his side this entire time...But there was far worse to follow was nearby as a group of imps watch the camp before returning to their own fortress of a temple running down to the lower levels to speak to their leader

Imp: yes my lord they are aware we are here but not you.

???: good...keep it that way if they try to attack. Do not fail. If you do. Oh well. More murder and playtime for me...ha...ha...

Chapter 9. Trust

Kratos: I...will...kill...you....

Kratos grunts the blood dripping from his entire body, before charging at the water beast letting out a loud war cry slashing into its arm, freezing the damned monsters arm completely before slamming his shield against it breaking off its arm the beast letting out a loud pained roar Yuka watched as kratos went toe to toe with this monster how he was so easily ripping through it with his ice weapon

Yuka: o dea Talos, precesque tuas peto audias meas. unum peto ut blizzardis irae ictum aqua constringat!!!!!

She screams out and slams her hand against the ground as suddenly a storm of snow and ice appear around Kratos and the beast while they clash the lake starting to freeze around them Kratos strikes becoming more deadly with each swing soon enough the entire lake froze crippling the monsters power using its left power it forms a blade of pure warm sharp enough to cut a human in half Kratos stood there waiting for the monster to swing the blade came crashing down

Yuka: Kratos!!!!

The smoke cleared and Kratos was standing there completely fine the monster had missed its attack seeing Kratos standing there before he swings his sword into the beast arm freezing it before shattering it off again the beast now weakened with no water to hide in completely exposed the storm started to calm as Kratos slowly walked to the beast while it tried to crawl away with its one arm Kratos then stepped onto its back his glowing eye staring down at the monster as he grips its head and drives his blade into the monsters throat freezing it before finally killing it with a single stomp to its head shattering the ice

Nova: is..everyone ok..??

Yuka walked as Kratos suddenly spit up blood and started to fall running to him she caught him just in time helping him stand

Yuka: What am I gonna do with you...

Nova stood up grunting before helping Aless back to her feet Aless pushing nova away before she fell again

Nova: let me help you...

Aless: no. I don't need it.

Aless would stand up slowly limping back to the camp while Yuka basically carried Kratos to the camp

Yuka: your fucking crazy you know that..?

Kratos: someones gotta be...haha...

They would all return to see Yuna cooking a meal for everyone

Yuka: papa!!! I- oh my...

Yuka sets down the injured Kratos against the sand as she began her healing spell

Yuka: this will fix you...but the pain will remain...I'll need to get potions for that...

Kratos: perfect...haha...

Aless: your fuxking insane..to go off and pull a stunt like that..

Kratos: you think I wanted to fight that..?? I was following that damn Imp..

Nova: Imp..? like munchkin..?

Kratos: no..a demon..

Yuka stops and stares at him with a worried look on her face

Yuka: a demon Imp was here..?

Munchkin: what's to worry about a single Imp..?

Yuka: it means...that it was a scout...there is more...probably a horde....

Nova: are you saying that a demon horde is around this dessert..

Yuka: yes...

Everyone got quite immediately until aless spoke

Aless: that changes nothing we will still kill them all..

Yuka: it's who's leading them in worried about..because all the demon generals are banished back to the demon realm..but a that Imp is the single thing that could get us killed..

Munchkin stood their watching them until a voice was heard

???: you shouldn't trust them.

???: shhh...they mustn't know I exist...if they do...well I'll have to kill them all..

Yuka: you ok kiddo..?

Munchkin: I...I'll be back...

Munchkin left the camp before running to a nearby dead tree

Munchkin: what are you..and why are you following me!?!

???: my name..I have no name..I am simply void to follow my host..but name me...voidless

Munchkin: host....

Voidless: yes that is you munchkin...I can keep you alive as long as I want...

Munchkin watches as the black mass took the form of a man in a rather nice suit of armor with no human features almost as if the suit was empty

Voidless: what scared to seem my armored self??

The knight then shifted into a tall beast with sharp claws and bloodshot teeth it's sinister voice even worse now

Voidless: or maybe my true form!?! Haha!!!

Munchkin: don't..hurt me...

Voidless: I can't...my host dies then I do..so I must protect you by all means necessary....

Munchkin: don't...hurt them...p-please...

Voidless: I won't as long as this is our little secret~ I am your protector..but if they find out I exist..they they will all die....and it'll be all your fault...

Munchkin stood there tears starting to fall down his face when suddenly Yuka came running up to him

Yuka: oh sorry kiddo..I also came to ask if you'd like to head to the city with me....to get some stuff for potions...we ran out..

Yuka smiled and pats his head before walking away from him leaving munchkin left with that damned monster

Chapter 8. Well Traveled

The sky was bright as morning broke Kratos hadn't slept sense seeing that demonic Imp worried for his party everyone else however would start to wake up first one being Yuna

Yuna: papa..? Why are you up so early??

Kratos: I just...woke up is all kiddo..

Not wanting to make a panic kratos kept quite to ensure everyone was safe and didn't run off to get themselves killed

Aless: you saw it too?

Kratos growls and stands up walking to Aless nodding

Kratos: no..we can't..more panic more problems..

Munchkin may had been asleep but that black mass wasn't at all it was watching them all until Kratos walked over to the Imp's last place seeing the tracks it left the mass then went to Kratos and gripped his head yanking it back as Kratos gasped loudly he then fell to his knees looking at up he saw a set of stairs looking at them it showed everyone...but no...they weren't..were they..? Yuna laid against the stairs a sword in her chest, Yuka laying on her chest as a deep slash was through her spine, Nova laying next to her broken bow with her neck snapped Munchkin covered in burn marks Aless however was alive she would draw to kratos before falling to the ground bleeding out Kratos had no idea what he was seeing but a voice was heard from behind him, he turned to see that same black Knight from before

???: you did this you let them die Kratos. You are no hero.

The armored knight taunts Kratos knowing Kratos's anger will be his downfall he would draw his blade

Kratos: I didn't do this...you did...

Kratos's right eye started to glow with rage as he charged the armored knight the knight immediately blocking his attack

???: now we're talking!!!

Kratos swings his blade again the slashes becoming more deadly with each hit against the blade Kratos and the knight clashing but it seemed the black knight was only blocking and dodging the attacks until he was hit with the hilt of the sword which only enraged Kratos more making his attacks more sporadic, faster, stronger!!! The blades flashing until Kratos was kicked right in the side by the armored knight, The knight raising his blade to kill Kratos until armored is seemingly pulled back by nova

Nova: what the hell is wrong with you two!?!!

Yuna walked up to Kratos hugging his leg with a very worried look on her face Kratos looks back at the armored knight to see it was only Aless

Aless: this fucking crazy bastard tried to kill me!!!

Kratos: I didn't...no I...

Kratos stares at everyone confused at what happen Yuka had stepped out the tent from the noise she was barely clothed

Yuka: what the hell is going on.

Munchkin then followed up rubbing his eyes

Munchkin: what happan..?

Yuka walked up to Kratos and growls getting in his face this didn't really phase Kratos her size is what made this less intimating

Aless: what huh!?!! Because clearly it made you attack me!!!

Kratos didn't speak no he stayed silent knowing if he spoke on this it would only get worse he looked at Yuka then the others before stepping away

He pats Yuna's head before walking off Kratos was confused as all hell what the fuck did he see..? Was it everyone's fate..? Maybe a illusion..no the only person who can cast spells was Yuka.. but she wouldn't do that to him..would she..? Suddenly he sees another Imp watching them the same demon he growled and immediately broke chase after the small demon this little thing had to be the cause of it he thought chasing it to a open lake the Imp disappeared out of thin air..but now he was at a open lake with a few animals drinking water Kratos sighed and sat on a nearby rock holding his head was he going insane no he couldn't have suddenly the water started to spin and ripple unnaturally until he was launched into the air by a hand made of pure water then slamming him down against the same rock crushing it under Kratos making his cough up blood from the sudden attack Kratos tho shook this off and immediately drew his sword swinging at the hand to see it did nothing. Absolutely nothing he was then back handed by the hand sending him flying into a tree he watches as the water around the lake starts to take a form of a large monster a monster made of pure water and raw strength seeing it, armor started to appear on the water monsters face and arms it let out a loud gurgling roar before slamming its fist against the ground water surrounding Kratos about to close in when a wall of ice appears around him breaking immediately which still sent him back a bit to only see Yuka chanting her spells while then Nova appears firing a arrow into the water monsters eye only to see it did nothing to the monster, then a tendril appears from the water wrapping around Nova crushing her bones with each movement, the tendril suddenly froze and was shattered by Yuka, the others still were back at the camp and the only people who could fight this was Yuka and that was bad she couldn't even get close enough suddenly the water monster started to stir the water around it the water suddenly boiling

Yuka: Kratos!! Get the fuck out!!!

Kratos hearing this would try until the water burst into air slamming against Kratos burning through parts of his armor, Kratos was then Punched in the chest by the monster sending him flying into a hypo the hit was so powerful it killed the hypo behind Kratos, the damage done to his body was pretty bad burn marks, bruises and even some cuts from the water before he lays against the Hypo breathing heavily about to go unconscious..Yuka was knocked off her feet into the water seeing it close in on her Nova growls and uses a nearby tree jumping into the air as she fires a arrow tipped with magic hitting the monster in the chest freezing a part of its chest, Yuka then uses a spell to freeze the water around her seeing the attack that was closing it freeze immediately

Yuka: that's it.. that's how we beat it..

She was then knocked off the ice by the monsters tendril throwing her into a rock Nova kept firing arrows until the monster would send a group of tendrils around nova holding her in place the monster itself closing in as it hand turns into a sharp blade made of water, swinging its blade it would only hit a shield Aless stood there before getting sent flying back into nova Kratos grunts coughing up more blood before breathing softly just laying there

Kratos: son of a bitch.....

Kratos would growl and suddenly sit up his right eye with its sinister glow as he slowly stands to his feet tightening his shield around his arm slowly moving to the monster, Yuka would slowly get to her knees before throwing a orb at Kratos which he caught immediately as the orb formed into a sword made of pure ice

Kratos: I...will...kill...you...

Chapter 7. Offerings

Another trip another day the small party sat around the campfire they made to warm them for the night it was nice so far no one had gotten hurt of course Aless hated the idea of no fighting for so long but they really didn't have much to do anymore? It was just them at the camp site

Nova: it's nice out...

Yuka: you always were a stargazer..

Kratos looked at the two elves and chuckled seeing how they talked as if this was normal for them to sleep outside so often and it was in fact

Yuka: well..I brought everyone something! It's pretty small but the dish is nice!

Yuka would pull out a basket with small boxes inside of them each one having the same meal inside a rather well cooked one at that

Yuka: it is a elven Alfredo box mixed with many elven ingredients plus a few of potions to make sure your all ready for tomorrow!!

Nova being the first to start eating the box the meal tasted better than she thought and she knew Yuka couldn't cook as well as others

Nova: you know...this isn't that bad..

Yuka's face lit up with excitement seeing her friends reaction to the meal the next one to try it was kratos and Nova was right it did taste good almost better than a normal human meal Yuka was happy to see people like her cooking tho Aless wasn't here..

Yuka: I'm glad you like it!

Munchkin would wake up yawning, rubbing his eyes Yuka would turn to him and smiled staring at him

Yuka: my goodness!! He's so cute when he's sleepy!

Yuka then pulled Munchkin into a sudden which was rather tight holding munchkin in her arms unaware of where he face was

Munchkin: mm...hey..can't see..

Yuka giggled and let's him go before partying his small head

Yuka: oh come on now you can't tell me not to hug you your cute!!

Munchkin: I am not cute...

Yuka laughed and stretches her chest bouncing as she jumped to her feet

Yuka: well I'm heading to bed..see all you..

As yuk left to her tent she ruffles Munchkins hair entering the tent it was now pretty much just Nova and Kratos, Nova seemed hesitant to speak to kratos

Kratos: you know I understand if you don't like me..I've been told about those humans..and what they do to elves..

Nova: No no!! I just...

Munchkin walks to nova and sat next to her looking up at her it was odd but Munchkin could tell nova was nervous and his rather soft fur was very comforting to the touch Nova smiled and brushed her hand up against his soft fur feeling finally at ease

Nova: I just..don't like some humans...you are pretty chill...Aless...she's mean..

Kratos: I wouldn't say that...Aless has just been thought a lot of shit..

Nova sighs and looks at kratos before reaching into it pulling out a small bottle staring at him before showing him the bottle

Nova: this is what they call a red soda...I've never tried it but it was made by my people..would you like some..?

Kratos: I guess so..? I wouldn't mind that at all..

Nova would start to pour them glasses as Munchkin would walk away from them to Yuka's tent opening it

Munchkin: hello...

Yuka: hm..? Yeah what's up kiddo..?

Munchkin: I...don't wanna be alone...

Yuka: I- oh...I'm..well come here kiddo..

Yuka pulls back her blanket letting munchkin get next to her Yuka's arm would wrap around munchkin pulling him into a hug cuddling him to her chest meanwhile outside the tent Nova and Kratos were downing the red soda which was pretty much just alcoholic drink made form elven ingredients Nova would soon of course get drunk of drinking and she asked a very much lightweight unlike Yuka

Nova: you knowww *hic* lots of peopplee think I'm crazy I'm notz..I'm just a good shot...

Kratos: yeah..?

He was humoring her at this point but still was enjoying her banter it was nice to relax for a bit with all that's gonna happen he wouldn't be ready for any of this

Nova: hey..can you take off your helmet for meh..? I wanna see what you look like!!

Kratos: I don't know...I'm wearing it for a reason..

Nova: awww come onnnnnn why not!!

Kratos sighed and looked at her with a smile and exhales annoyed knowing she wouldn't stop until he did it so he willingly starts to unlock the helmet before pulling it off to show his face, covered in scars..his oddly colored hair and his one red eye..but the pupil of that eye was shaped like..a pentagram..what happened to him

Nova: oh my...are you alright..?

She would reach to touch his face and kratos grabs her arm

Kratos: yes..I am..

Nova: you have a pretty eye..

Kratos: thank you...

Nova would move closer to his face admiring the look of it how it was oddly covered with markings and such but still made him look very human

Nova: your a handsome fella~!

Kratos: I- uh...thank you...

Nova smiled and leans back yawning before she slowly lays her head against the log

Nova: I'm just gonna lay here for a moment...

Kratos: you go ahead...I'll keep watch for the night...:

Just then Aless came walking back to the camp her blade covered in blood

Kratos: don't you ever take a damn break..?

Aless: no. I don't.

With that single Bach of words she immediately went into her tent for the night kratos however stayed up keeping watch a few hours passed until he noticed something was watching the camp determined he grabbed his blade and hit it against his shield to warn the sneaky creeper that he was aware he was there the small thing ran immediately and by the looks of it, it was a Imp..a demon Imp

Kratos: has it been watching us the whole time..?

Chapter 6. Not Hero’s only Warriors

Here we are the real beginning of our story but I warn you the story isn't all happy.

{Somewhere in a cave}

The sound of a blade crashing against flesh is heard almost immediately as the great warrior Kratos stands over the orc he had just killed

Kratos: cleared out!

The rest of the group step out and aless sighs clearly annoyed by the work that was given to her

Aless: Why the hell do I have to stay in the back. It's not like anyone can flank us!

Yuna: maybe it's because in case someone enters!!

Yuka: this is a cave Aless..meaning any pathways are a trap

Aless growls and looks away following them through the cave again clearly annoyed by all this she hated the idea of being here or did she??

Kratos: we are here because they said a band of Orcs have left their tribe and started to make a machine under the city..along with a captain..who I think they said was a Olog-Hai..whatever that is

Munchkin stops stops shaking at that name

Munchkin: wait..olog...hai...is that right...

Kratos: yes why do you ask

Munchkin: oh no..this is a bad idea..

Nova: I'm sure we can handle i-

They all come to the end of the cave to see a staircases and when they step to the staircase they see the entire tribes work they were in fact building a machine under the city and this was bad how did they even get the items to build this under the city

Aless: what the fuck..?

Yuka: seems like more than a few members this looks like an entire tribe..

Nova: don't let that stop us..we have to stop the machine at all cost..

Munchkin: I..I have a plan..

Everyone turns to him with a look of disbelief a small fry like him had a plan? This was a joke right?? Right?

Yuna: what's your plan!!

Munchkin: o-oh! W-well you see the orcs are protecting the machine meaning we can't get near them but if we kill the captain who leads this group..they will kneel..

Everyone was surprised to hear this plan it was perfect in fact better than what others had in store but they gave him a nod and smiled

Kratos: great idea kid..but how do we draw him out..?

Nova: leave that to me.

Nova would walk to the edge and jump onto the nearby wooden wall climbing on top of it while the others sneaked their way down into the production site which was rather crowded by orcs, Nova then draws back her bow ready to fire at everyone around

Nova: gotcha~

Nova's first arrow flys into a orcs head then another goes flying passing through three orcs skulls in a matter of seconds she kept firing arrows watching the orcs panic at the sudden deaths sudden a loud thud is heard and a very large monster steps out no. A troll? No! The Olog-Hai kratos spoke of

???: who dares kill my men!! How about I kill you!!! Argu fuo Kaoko!!

Kratos growls and steps out charging the Olog before the Olog spun around and gripped Kratos blade slamming it to the ground before pulling it up to him

???: well well~ this is a nice blade~ almost as strong as the last one that tried to cut me down~

Kratos was thrown back then whacked into a wooden wall which then Aless moved in on the attack slicing the Olog's legs which didn't seem to harm him as much he growls and slams his club down watching as aless slides through his legs slashing his legs again Kratos got up from his attack and shook it off moving in with Aless them both crashing their blades against his war club all the while Nova covering them with arrow fire but behind her was another story a orc was getting ready to stab her when a ball of fire blasted into the orcs face burning him alive this startled Nova but she didn't mind

Nova:...thanks yuka..

Yuka: your welcome! Haah..

Yuna and Munchkin were working on the machine until Yuna turns to see a canon and laughed evilly

Yuna: shall we???

Munchkin: ooo! I wonder what these buttons will do!!

Aless was thrown straight into kratos knocking them both which then the Olog turns and swings his club at Yuna which she easily jumps away from disappearing

Yuna: howdy!!

She was standing on his shoulder before driving her small blade into the Olog's shoulder then ripping it downward making the wound bigger she then jumps off his back with that Kratos followed up slashing the Olog's chest sending him back a bit, which aless took advantage of slicing into the Ologs leg pushing him down to his kneels munchkin however was enjoying himself pressing buttons until the canon fired right into the machine making it blast into flames this was bad now they all had to get out without dying

Yuka: come on!! Quit fucking around!!

Yuka broke run back to the stairs along side the others Nova using her lightweight jumped down landing perfectly before Yuka held her staff up

Yuka: o dea Talos audi me nunc tuum praesidium posco, sanctum tuum Obex peto!!!!

Which these words suddenly a force field appears around the tribes production site with the loud blast of the site

Kratos: get down!!

The blast shook the entire cave but to their luck it didn't make the cave collapse on then the spell ends and Yuka kneels to catch her breath they all looked down into the tribes work site it was all destroyed they did it

Aless: uch..let's get going

Aless walks away annoyed once again all that killing was so brief now the trip was just to leave the cave and when they did they were met with something fat worse

???: well hello there everyone~ oh aless! And nova??? Your both here perfect~!!

A knight in all black armor stood above them on a cliff side smirking behind his helmet

???: well now this is just perfect~ but anyways I'm here to warn you all about something and trust me it won't be pretty~

Kratos: friend of yours..?

Aless: no...

Nova: definitely not

nova went to draw her bow but the black knight spoke again

???: Yes indeed!! Attack me prove my point!!!

Nova stops and stares at him confused as hell and why this knight was here..

???: I'm here to tell you their is a treat coming..and you cannot stop it. You will all die. I have foreseen it.

Kratos: clearly you don't know who we are then!!

???: I do kratos~ I know everything about each of you~ like how Yuka was sexually abused by humans or maybe that Munchkin isn't only strong it's because something is attached to him!!

Everyone got quite watching the black knight before he spoke again with a evil tone

???: you will die...Just be ready when it happens...

The knight jumps off the cliff disappearing into the night everyone was confused and baffled

Kratos: well that happened..

Munchkin: I don't like that sound of that...
