Take Your Medicine (Clyde Logan x Reader)

The way Clyde looked at you made you want to hide further under your blanket. He had one eyebrow raised as he stood over you, medicine and glass of water in hand.

“No being mad, I’m sick!” you protested, words muffled by your blanket as you peaked out over the edge. You peeped your foot out from under the blanket and tried to shove him away playfully by pushing on his thigh.

He sighed and bent down so he was more level with you, tucking the blanket back over your foot as it disappeared once more, “Darlin’ I’m not mad, I’m disappointed”

Clyde smiled when you whined pitifully, “Thought you’d like that. No, but seriously sweetheart, take ya damn medicine please”

You grumbled and shuffled yourself to seated position to do as he says, taking what he handed to you with a pout. You kept yourself huddled under the extra fluffy blanket, keeping your cold toes curled up underneath you.

The second Clyde plopped himself onto the couch you scrambled to curl your body against his. As you hummed happily and he chuckled, “Comfy there?”

“Mmhmm!” you said, nuzzling into his neck and gripping at his thick plaid shirt. His arms came up around you, prosthetic hand lightly grabbing hold of your thighs to haul them across his lap so he was cradling you.

“What are you doing?” you asked shyly as he pulled and moved you. His warm flesh hand ran up and down your back as you settled into him.

“Takin’ care of ma baby” he replied, resting his hand on your head to stop you from moving and so he could run circles against your scalp. Your body instantly melted into him, relief flooding through every muscle.

Today had felt so long, your body protesting highly against merely existing, so to curl into Clydes arms felt like heaven. You could feel your eyelashes fluttering as your fought against sleep.

As if he could read your mind he whispered into your hair, “Sleep darlin’, I’ve got ya”

You hummed something affirmative to him, nuzzling into closer as if trying to climb inside his warm body. His hands stroked and played with your hair, occasionally you’d feel him press kisses to the top of your head.

Eventually you heard the mumble of the TV but you may have been dreaming it as your breathing slowed and you drifted into some much needed sleep.
