The young woman looked up at the stars, thinking. “Hmm... Yes, I do suppose so,” she answered. “I guess I just move around so much because I never have a real reason to stay...”

She hummed slightly, thinking and leaning slightly to his touch. “But... After tonight, I think this village may need a local sorceress to help with the damage taken to the area from the fire. So I should stay here longer than usual to help with repairs and such. Not to meantion my new job...”

A light blush spread across her cheeks at her next thought. ...and you.

A Hint Of Magic

Kira’s eyes fluttered open, and she raised a brow just slightly at his grin. Was he that happy just because she agreed to move in with him…? Surely not, right?

“…what are you thinking about?” she asked softly, bringing her hand up to gently caress his cheek with her cold thumb. Everything about this was so strange, so new to Kira. The warm body next to hers contrasting her coldness, his voice in her ear, his heart beating below her head as she rested his cheek against his chest…

It was a new yet wonderful feeling…
