and i dunno why, but on the third art i decided to add cat ears to him-- uuuhhh, don't ask why. just remembered one piece of fanart and decided to do the same..

this idea has been sitting in my head for a long time and, finally, i was able to realise it. not the best gif, but i tried. :,)

it doesn't look very good and don't mind the poor colours and shading. this was the first time i made shadows in that app (and i hope the quality is okay--) , so this is, so to speak, a test of the pen. :p

So this WIP was meant for @symbruary Girls night, but I didn't have the spoons to finish it on time. Like, this was such a fun concept, and I love drawing wild freaky symbiote hair, but also. Goddamn.

Me, after finishing Carnage: "Whew, I don't think I'll be drawing symbiote hair in a while now."

My brain: "Hey, let’s put Scream, Mayhem and Agony all together in the next piece!"

Now, there are no words in this besides the title, so I guess I'll just tag some peeps then.

Simplest Venom

I made some Venom t-shirt designs for a silkscreen printing workshop I'm attending. Largely trying for a kind of art nouveau look, and this one is supposed to be the simplest option in case there is not much time. Alright I'm FINALLY done with this drawing of everyone's favourite murder gal! It's inspired by the scrapped original concept design for Carnage, and dedicated to @kitausuret and @reaperlight ❤

Also, you know how surgeons wear green clothes to neutralise the visual overload of staring at 50 shades of red for hours on end? Yeah I had to sit next to my houseplants for the same purpose while drawing this.

Symbruary Day 1: Xenobiology

A symbiote can get so excited it “explodes”. It doesn't happen very often, but in symbiotes with particularly loose biomass, sometimes the psychic overload will be dispersed physically, causing the symbiote's mass to lose coherence and rigidity abruptly; it will often coat whatever surface is around it and stick there unable to move until the symbiote has recovered from the outburst. This leaves the symbiote vulnerable, as well as makes its bodily scent highly noticeable. This can be especially problematic in cases of predators, which is why many are advised to keep a level head at all times, and enthusiastic displays of joy are often chastised, if not outright banned in some regions.
