A Level making - part 3
I laser cut a bunch of chevron shapes as this was a more efficient way to cut them out than by doing it by hand. I then glued them together in threes to achieve the required thickness and used a jig to set them straight.

Drilling holes in side panels. I used scrap wood and a clamp as a resting point to aid lining up the pieces for quality control.

A level making process - part 1
Cutting sides to a hexagon using an angled circular saw. I then used my jig to make sure the sides fitted together, and adjust the angle accordingly.
