PART 5 Of the October cottage.
By DAISY tye.
‘oh no,’ thought Jerimier.
He panicked ‘what did he mean by you’ll pay for it?’ He
Wondered.
Jeri debated running away from school. Then asked Sammy T if he would come with him.
‘no way mate!!’
‘why?’
‘cause I wanna get some education!’
‘really?’
‘yes.’
‘really?!’
‘no. I just don’t wanna run away.’
‘you scared?’
‘YEP. Now you go if you wanna go! I ain’t stoppin ya.’
‘fine. Maybe I will.’
‘seriously?’
‘yep. Bye!’
And with that he sneaked out of the school gates, which wasn’t hard because the school can’t be bothered to check all the children are in the right classes, or be bothered to put up CCTV cameras.
Or be bothered to be bothered.
So he was out. He was out.
‘I AM OUT!’ He screeched when he escaped.

‘well, I thought she was on my side,’
‘well maybe not! Come on lets go to assembly.’
The pair walked down the hall of the school to the assembly hall.
Jeri was still looking at his phone, and nearly walked right into someone. As he walked to his chair in the hall, he checked some more messages.
‘hey Jeri, its hollie,

Part 3 of the October cottage. BY Daisy Tye
‘Hey,hey hey! Looky what we got here!’
‘shut up jamie,’ whispered jeri when jamie confronted him in the playground.
‘ummm,’ Jamie looked around at his mates and shrugged, then said, ‘guys, did you hear something?’ His friends shook their heads smiling. ‘cause I thought I heard a little…. ANT trying to fight with a gorilla! Like, squeak squeak squeak!’ He laughed and sashayed away with his friends following him like a bunch of sheep.
‘stupid, stupid’ whispered Jeri to himself, as he checked his phone. 167 NEW NOTIFICATIONS! ‘woah,’ he said as he opened the first message.
Hey Jeri! Its Anna!
Just wanted to tell you, AMAZINGLY FUNNY video last night!
HILARIOUS! I cracked up! You are such a good actor. Hope Jamie won’t see it and take it the wrong way!
Love from
Anna xxxx
‘What?!’ Thought Jeri to himself. He opened another one this time it was from Sammy T, who jeri has been friends with since a young age, but now seemed to have drifted apart.
Jeri! My man!

SAMMY %
‘WHAT ABOUT THIS VIDEO?!’ Shouted Jeri a little bit too loudly. ‘AND WHY DOES SAMMY ALWAYS SIGHN OFF A TEXT WITH PERCENTAGES?’ He shouted. Just then Sammy walked over to him and said,
‘HEY! Jeri! The theatre on wheels! How ya doin man? Come on talk to me in assembly.’
‘hi sam, I’m good thanks, but a little confused.’
‘TALK TO ME!’
‘kay, so I just checked my phone and I have THOUSANDS of texts and emails. I read a few of them and they are all congratulating me on a video?’
‘OH MY! Man! Ya don’t know? Woah dude! That’s hilarious!’
‘WHAT IS?!’
‘ya practically FAMOUS mate!’
‘for what?’
‘you flipping out over Jamie Thompson, and then ya know your mum came in and screamed at ya; she really is a good actor too!’
‘what the………WHO RECORDED IT?!’
‘i expect your sister, it was on her account on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat. EVERYTHING!’
Jeri was speechless, but then said,
‘Why does Maxie have Twitter?’

First Story!
‘It’s so hard being poor; isn’t it Sam?’
‘Well, it is, if you don’t have work, but we do. So I hope you shall stop moaning and groaning so drastically about it,’
India, and Samantha Parr, were sitting on their cold, damp floor by the crackling fire in their run down little cottage. And yes, they were poor. Extremely poor, to be precise. No one, but India, accepted and acknowledged the fact that they were poor, and too poor to really work properly, though, mother and father and Samantha, never ever accepted that, and went on as they were.
Samantha, the eldest out of her, and India, was 17 years old, with a pretty enough face, usually covered by her bundle charcoal hair, which is really best feature. She had a very sharp tone, and way, about her, and always got her way, even if someone said that she couldn’t jump of the roof of the tumbledown cottage, and she really desired to; well, she would just kick and scream till she got her way. She, in some ways, is very immature for her age group.
Whereas, India, the youngest, of the two, somehow, acted as the eldest. She had a very pretty tanned brown face, with eyes that looked a bit like they represented the sea on her beach coloured face, with her long, curled, blonde main looking like the sun over looking the beach. She has a very good sense of humour, and is all around a good natured young lady. At the age of 15, she had already accomplished a lot of things; such as, winning dozens of awards at her school, as well as at her Maths and English after school clubs; and, the award or pleasure she is most proud of, a trophy, for being, ‘kind to others’; as her awarder had said. You’d probably think, that for a girl of 15, who had won a lot of prestigious prizes, and awards, that her family would be anything but poor. Well… that’s were you’re wrong. For, India was quite disliked by the other young women in her classes and clubs. Not for her kindness or her charming manner, but for her face. And accomplishments. For they are all jealous of her, but don’t show it, but instead take it out on her. Saying that she was ugly, and that all of her awards were just given because of her face. So school was proven to be a hard time for India, though she had the choice to go, or not, she went, as she adored learning, and felt the need that she had to stand up to her fears,
which she tried to do everyday, but eventually got conquered at the end.
Their mother, Estela, was her name, and in Spanish meant, ‘like a star’, and true that was, for she always saw the good in things and people and bad situations, and she looked a bit like a star too. She had light, somehow fluffy, blonde hair, that used to bounce with merriment, years ago when she was happy, but now, that they’re poor, the blonde locks just hang lifelessly behind her.
Father, who’s name is Andrew, is like mother, but has a flop of dark hair, just like Samantha —who had always been a ‘Daddys girl’— with a little temper, that he has learned to control, but sometimes seeps out again, in moments where he can’t help it.
So as you can see, the children’s personalities, and looks, are frightfully similar to their parents!

3rd story! part 2 The October Cottage!
‘WHEN ON EARTH DO YOU THINK IT IS OK TO TALK LIKE THAT ABOUT SOMEONE?!’ shouted Mum.
Not remembering what Maxie had warned him about, Jeri shot back,
‘WELL I CAN! AND I WILL! CAUSE I HATE JAMIE THOMPSON!!!!!’ with that, mum just whispered,
‘don’t you EVER say that again. Or, i will...... I DON’T KNOW WHAT I’LL DO.’
Then mum just walked out of the room, and down the stairs quietly and calmly.
‘JERI! Why didn’t you listen to me?!’ asked a frustrated Maxie on the way to school.
‘i don’t know, i was just frustrated that mum will NEVER believe me when i tell her about jamie thompson.
‘well, just try to ignore him, and then he will stop, so you won’t have to tell mum.’

2nd story! The October Cottage. pt 1
Jerimier Vantrophel, was a strange little boy. Well, I say little boy as he has only just turned 13 years old. But his height, makes him look way older! Therefore, being the tallest in his school, and just turning 13, means that at sometime, he might feel like he rules the world. Not that he ever would, but he might still.
"Jeri" shouted Maxie
"what?" Jerimier screeched back at his big sister, in a terribly sour tone.
"you're gonna be late you doofus!"
"whatever! I don't care a bit! I hate school! And I HATE JAMIE THOMSPON!"
"Don't you dare speak about people like that Jerimier Hudson Vantrophel!" screeched a slightly different voice up to Jerimier.
"Hey! Maxie! you sound too much like mum! it's freaking me out!"
"Jeri, it is mum." replied Maxie quietly.
Mum stormed up the wooden stairs, her stomps up and up, echoing in the house.
Maxie ran infront of her, just in time to slip a sentence in with Jeri, before mum noticed.
"jeri, just say sorry, DON'T argue."
Jeri nodded.
NEXT PART COMING SOON!
